II was a tigress always fighting real and perceived prejudices wanting to win every argument. Viveka is completely chill.
She knows what is important to HER, she also knows it will NEVER be as important to other people. she doesnt club people on the head to convince them, poverty is a real issue.

He just left the room, got ready and went to work
“WHY are you doing this?” Viveka begged
“I am tired of their nagging” Naina shrugged and picked upher bag and left for work

The house went back to deep freeze until the next eveningwhen they dragged themselves over to Shrivastavs for Satyanarayan Pooja
It was grand and opulent as always, Mathurs were invited tosit together with Kamal and Savita
Smrita was visibly aghast
Anu held her head high and did not acknowledge Smrita,nodded a “namaste” to Satyen
Viveka was in the library reading until Piyush came to kickher out to go sit in the pooja
Naina was a mess, she was moody and quiet

Viveka was in a royal blue Dhaka Jamdani cotton kurta and a hot pink pencil pants, her hair in her usual messy bun, and large silver earrings
“Aaj pehen leti saree tum? UP mein suit nahi pehana jaatatyohar mein… hum logon keg har”
“TWINS ne SKIRT pehni hai” Viveka grumbled
“Haan haan who abhi chhoti hain”
Viveka was asked to sit in a spot between both set ofparents, near Harsha
“What did we both do?” she laughed
“Tum dono bade ho, Dadi ne kaha pooja mein baithoge toshaadi jaldi hogi”
“USKE liye shaadi?” Viveka was disgusted
“USKO mat bolo betaaaa” Savita was a simpleton, “Itni padhlikh gayi ho tumhare liye KAHA se laayen dulha”
“Jo bhi aayeha, usko hamari Viveka ka last name lena padega”Kamal said proudly
That sent Anu and Akash into suppressed laughter, remindingthem of the joke from Friday morning about Inder Dhamija;s last name
“Mwahh baith ja beta” Kamal urged
“Do u really want to do this?” she accused Harsha
“I cut a deal… so yeah” he shrugged and went back to lookat his phone
Viveka got up abruptly
“PAPAAA” she was offended
Smriti was watching the whole thing sitting in the frontrow in the over stuffed spotless white sofa
“Suno Savi… who Ph D wagera karegi beta shaadi kahan karegiab”
“Suno to” Savita giggled
Viveka turned to walk away and rammed into Raanav Parasharin a cream kurta chudidar and a navy jacket, her glasses falling off
“Bhagwan se bhaag rahe ho ya Mom Dad se?” Sateyn laughed catching her fall
“Bhaisaab pakad lo usko chhodna nahi” Savita urged
Anu texted Viveka
“This is juvenile… get ur ass back to the dhurrie”
In a way Savita was right. Viveka wears a sari a lot so on a puja day it would have made sense. Why is Viveka so intent on running away from the puja?
Loved Satyen's comment. Running from God or parents? And then Anu telling her to get her ass back.
