See, in my opinion, till now all of Veer's actions haven't been from Veer's rational mind, but from his heart and soul which is of Aakesh. Aakesh was tremendously in love with Naageshwari, knowing who she was and could die for her. Aakesh was free of mental complexes like "dushman hai" and all that. Veer on the other hand is always stopped by his rational mind from acting on the feelings which truly belong to Aakesh. Veer himself cannot understand why he feels so intensely for Bani. After Teer's death too, Veer could not bring himself to hurt Bani or allow others to do that, because Aakesh was stopping him from within. When Veer first saved Bani from the blast, that was Aakesh's doing, not Veer's mind. Veer says he hates shape-shifting serpents, but that isn't Aakesh talking, that is Veer talking, his mind talking. Veer has a very sharp and astute mind which does not even stop from doubting Bani. Had he been all Aakesh, I don't think he would have been able to do so.

Aakesh is purely in love with Naageshwari, devoid of mental complexes, and conditioning. Bani is Naageshwari. Aakesh ko Bani ka chehra dekhne ki zarurat nahi hai, he knows she is Naageshwari. It is a soul calling in a way. Rooh ne rooh ko pehchaan liya hai. And Aakesh was always open about himself. Naageshwari always misunderstood his intentions. And Bani is horribly stuck as Naageshwari. Others have moved on. Aakesh is needed here because he is one of the reasons, she is stuck. He can offer her clarity to the mess of Satyug and Kalyug. Bani definitely needs to be handheld to the truth, cause otherwise woh khud se nahi kar pa rahi na.

Veer is still very guarded because his mind is working here, not the heart. He never told her he is a Cheel, he hates "shapeshifting serpents". That is all Veer's rational mind and his lack of knowledge about his past. Once Veer and Aakesh are the same, it will be settled. Bani needs to really leave Naageshwari behind and move on with Veer. Who better than Aakesh to guide her about who he is and what Veer truly is? And when the time comes, Veer will have to embrace his past, Aakesh, so that he is in complete control of his past and present and knows how to handle the upcoming battles, he will have to face with Bani.

I wholeheartedly agreed to what you stated. Veer’s rational mind is also caused by a lot of brainwashing by the bad cheels that we don’t know as of now and unfortunately Balwant has fallen prey at the tricks of them hence why he was so anxious and agitated of Veer coming to know about his past. Why are they all scared in the first place? Did they think he’ll find naageshwari again and ruin their plans for getting the upper hand in the hierarchy. Moreover, we know Shukla has reminded him of the same and God knows how many countless amount of times he has manipulated them all. Ye Shukla ne cheelon ko daraya howa hai about naag being their enemies than they probably are with them with exceptional like Jay. Some known face is behind that Markaat baba whenever that is reveal and all the secrets are under him which even Cheel clan isn’t aware of.

I feel Veer’s mind have been witchcraft like maybe that’s why he is unable to determine any of his past life except of his full fledge emotions he feels for Bani. And Bani being the light in his dark tunnel could turn the tables around. Like you said, he’ll be more content and sorted. He recognizes his emotions, yet Akesh face and the story is still very much alien to him. Once that other half reunites with Veer, he’ll become even more powerful by surrendering himself completely. Also, Bani has a purpose with Cheel and so does VaNi as a couple. They need to fulfill something very important and to be able to explore they have to go through a lot together while facing enemies that are both known and unknown. This might deviate them from their purpose, as it will be a tricky path, but they have to keep going and that’s the test from their bholenaath.

So when Bani meets Akesh and get to know more about him, things she missed out or misunderstood would be very explicit and that can mandate her to do the same with Veer. Since Bani thinks Veer is aware of the past and doesn’t condemn anything, she becomes rude. She’ll have to come in terms of her betrayal from Jay and a task along to provide shelter for Veer, safeguard him until he finds himself as of who he is. More like Bani ki agnipariksha will legitimately going to start.

For some reason, something has stopped that sand clock which shows the time ticking to know when Veer will remember the past. Someone is stopping him from recalling his last life, and I guess the reason is because Aakesh was privy to some facts. I think that if they show Dheeraj as some imposter, they are losing out on a great opportunity to let Bani know that there is some mastermind behind all these games. He could let her know many truths and also give her some clue to find out the actual mastermind behind this Shukla, Jai, Mayuri and all. I really hope he is some guide for Bani and not someone to hurt Bani because there are already many out there to do the same, some known and some unknown.

Exactly, I feel Aakesh and Naageshwari both need a proper closure, before VAni can start their journey. Initially, it will be about Bani being Veer's shield and safety net, and Veer unintentionally saving Bani. But when Veer will have clarity on his past, then it will be a two-way street.
