Suggestions?

I'd like to know your suggestions/recommendations for the drama which depicts the best male protagonist. Preferably, a grey shaded character who dotes on the woman he loves. A love which consumes his being. A character which keeps up his characterisation without any redemption or apology and has a happy ending despite.

Your description of male protagonist reminds me of Gul-e-Rana drama of Sajal and Feroze but can't say whether it has happy ending or not. As individuals ,I feel it's happy ending but as a couple, it isn't.

Another is Koi Chand Rakh , Ayeza Khan and Muneeb Butt as a pair. It has happy ending too.

Umair(Muneeb Butt )and Rabail (Ayeza Khan) are cousins and live together as Rabail's parents are no more. Rabail is four years older to him and whole family including Rabail considers Umair as her younger brother. But Umair loves Rabail and wants to marry her which Rabail and other family members don't approve. Umair's character is selfish in the start and creepy too but with time you will notice the clarity. He loves Rabail and leaves everything for her and becomes addicted to drinking and smoking as Rabail gets married to Zain (Imran Abbas) who loves Umair's sister Nishaal (Areeba Habib) who also lives with Rabail and Umair. And Zain is a negative character completely . Precisely, Zain and Nishaal are the villains of the drama.

Although, I didn't like the drama much But I liked the chemistry of Umair and Rabail which became a hit pair because of Koi Chand Rakh.

Khaani. Nothing matches your description as perfectly as this drama. I don't feel he is the best Male protagonist but again that depends on how you define it.. but he is a grey character who goes crazy in love. Try it out.

Used to watch repeat telecasts on TV. It did become a saas bahu saga. A rather boring and monotonous one at that. Thank you nonetheless.
