Part 12
I- to katam kariye ye sab aur chaliye shaadi kar letein hain saari jhooth bolne ki jhanjhat hi katam .
R- as you wish but what about your parents ,your mother is very much angry .
I- wo mujh par chod dijiye .
Saying so she went out ,Raman too tailed her behind . Ishra reached the hall and saw their parents talking .They listened Toshiji saying "I know madhu its not the perfect time neither situation but still I m asking your daughter's hand for my son ."
Amma- how can you even think about it . We people were helping you ,lekin kisi ki madad karte karte koi apne ghar ko nuksaan thodi na pahuncha sakta hai .
T- baat to tumhari sahi hai madhu, but now we are stuck hum kuch kar nahi sakte . Agar ab hum peeche hat gaye to its sure that we will loose our ruhi for always .
M- wo main samajh sakti hoon but I can't sacrifice my daughter for that . Haan thodi kam sundar hai but still she is the most precious thing of our life ,we can't do that .
T- Madhu main tujhse vaada karti hoon ki ishita ko main bahut achche se rakhoongi , we will give all those things which parents want for their daughter.Please madhu maan jaao.aur phir aaplog to yahin rahenge you people can see how nicely we are treating your daughter.
Amma thought for sometimes and said
" dekho santoshi tum kuch bhi kaho I m not ready for this but I can't decide for ishita , so you have to convince her not me ."
Ishra listened this,they looked at eachother then Raman said " Ma papa ,I think we should leave now ."
T- arey aise, kaise we are talking .
R- thats not needed ma .
T- kyun kya hua ?
R- aap log pahle chalo yahaan se, baad mein baat kar lena . Its not a small thing that can solve this now itself .
Mr bhalla - waise Raman baat to sahi kar raha hai ,we can't solve it by talking once . Moreover everybody is tired mentally and physically too ,so we should move to our house ,we have a months time . May be we can get some nice idea .
Talking so Mr bhalla got up and said " Iyer sahab ,bhabhi ji thankyou somuch for your help .you people had done somuch ,its unfortunate that we are stuck in this situation ,bas matarani se ye manaite ki koi tareeka nikal aaye isse bahar nikalne ka .
Mr iyer - aap sahi kar rahein hain bhalla ji .
After that bhalla's left from iyers house while ruhi stayed back as she was still playing in ishita's room .
The moment Appa closed the door Amma made a dirty face and spoke " Badi aayi apne divorcee bete se meri ishu ki shaadi karane wali . Viswa don't you dare ,try to convince me for this ,meri beti mujhe bahut pyaari hai ,I m not going to sacrifice her for their selfish motive . Aaj unhe meri kanna ki zaroorat hai thats why she is saying this but is their any guarantee that she will treat my daughter nicely .
Appa- madhu don't you think you are over thinking .
Amma- maine bola na ,don't even try to convince me .
Ishita saw her mother angry and said " amma ,itna gussa kyun ,aap pahle baitho , lo paani piyo and calm down ."
Amma- I m ok ,I don't need to be calm down.
I- aap pani to piyo then we will talk.
Amma took the water and had few sips then ishita sat beside her and spoke "amma why are you thinking somuch , you just think that its in my fate ."
Amma- what do you mean by that .
I- I had already agreed to marry Raman sir .
Amma got shocked listening to this and said " ishu had you gone mad ,how can you agree to marry him .He is a divorcee and has a kid also whereas you are fresh ."
I- amma shaant ho jaao aur meri baat suno.We are already stuck in this situation. Society ya family ki baat hoti to we would had denied but its about law and court has ordered us to marry . If we will marry and submit the marraige certificate then Raman sir will get Ruhi's permanent custody and if we don't he will loose ruhi for always . I know Raman sir nicely he is a very nice person , wo mere saath kabhi galat nahi karenge. He is in very bad situation now and I don't want to leave him like that , amna please aap gussa rahege to nain kuch nahi kar paaungi . I m going to start a new life ,aap blessings nahi doge to kaise chalega .appa aap kuch bolo na .
She said looking towards her father, but before he could tell anything amma spoke
" my blesings are always with you kanna but I m not liking this . Hum bahut achche se ,apne pasand ke ladke se tumhari shaadi karna chahte the ."
Ishita didn't said anything just looked at her father for help . Appa too convinced amma, they were still talking when ruhi showed us , she went to ishita and said " ishita aunty papa ,dadi dadu ,sab kahaan gaye ."
I- they went to their house ,come I will drop you there .
Ishita held ruhi's hand and spoke ,ruhi immediately pulled her hand and said " achcha hus wo log chale gaye ,ab main aapke saath jyada time spend kar paaungi aur mujhe aapko ek baat bhi batani hai. "
I- baat ? Kya baat beta .
Ruhi signalled her to come closer ,oshita went near her . Ruhi smiled fully, kissed ishita's cheek and said " yahi ki aap bahut achche ho aur mujhe bahut pasand ho ."
Ishita smiled and said hugging her " aur aap bhi mujhe bahut pasand ho ."
Ishita looked at amma with pleading eyes ,amma didn't said anything about marriage but asked ruhi " ruhi kanna bhookh lagi hai ,aaj paati ne tumhara favourite sambhar rice banaya hai ."
Ru- yeah mujhe bahut pasand hai wo .
All smiled listening to her and got up to go to dinning area . Ishita and amma were serving lunch when the door bell rang , ishita went to open the door and found it was Raman .
I- sir aap ?
R- yeah ,I came to take ruhi .
I- she is having lunch with us ,either you too come and join us or I will bring ruhi after eating .
R- no thanks ,I m not eating south Indian food ,you bring ruhi after she is done .
I- okay .
Raman was about to leave when Mr iyer asked " ishu kanna who's it ."
I- Appa Raman sir hain .
Appa- call him inside I wanna talk something to him .
Raman listened this and came inside, appa signalled him to sit . He obeyed and appa asked" Raman your mother want you and ishu to get married even ishu too is ready ,I wanna know your opinion about it ."
R- uncle if you wanna know my opinion then the truth is I don't wanna marry ishita ,because it feels like I m using it but at the same time we are stuck in this situation. Its either we get marry or I loose ruhi for always so I don't have any aay on it .But I can assure you if we get married, ishita will get everything which a girl want from her married life , love ,movey ,respect family everything . If you people are not satisfied with our words,I can even transfer some of my properties on ishita's name .
Amma got angry listening to this and spoke " what do you mean ,we just want our daughter's happiness .We have got enough money to live our life happily so we don't need money. "
R- I m sorry I don't mean to offent you people ,its just I wanna assure you that ishita will be happy with us .
Raman talked to them some more and then went . Next day the both the family met and decided that ishra should get married in a cosy function.
