I dont like tv soap type extra mahaan character only exception was deewani mini in ruhani ishq🤣🤣 but it was altogether a different story where she was supposed be like that. And may be in one more story i will put cliche character where i plan to make her crazy like maya🤣

Here both are opinionated. Mini understands his situation but not ready to sacrifice with anything and neil also wants his family back but his job is his passion he is not willing to give up on that

Deewani Mini even I liked . it was in character. That mini was hidden somewhere and lost due to responsibilities and Neil bought it out and we could see girly Mini for first time

Mini as Maya ? Sounds interesting. Thats again alter ego of Mini when in love 😆 hidden 🤣same will go to Neil also whenever he acts possessive or deewana which we saw in kitten Neil story .

Here in this story both are right and still both are wrong and they are normal human beings so

“Happy birthday princess!” Mini and Neil wished Arya who had just woken up from her sleep. “Mumma, papa! Thankyou.” Arya almost jumped in their arms. “Where are my gifts?” Arya asked excitedly. Mini and Neil both laughed at her. Mini like every year handed over to her a big teddy bear. Arya hugged him happily and decided to name him ‘Golu’ while Neil took her in his arms and placed his one hand on her eyes so that she cant see anything then he took her outside and made her sit on a bicyle. Arya opened her eyes and shouted in excitement. “Papa, you are the best. Wow…my first bicycle. Its so amazing.” Arya became busy in opening the other gifts given to her by her nanu and naeem bi. While Mini started instructing Rani di about all the preparations to be done for Arya’s birthday celebration in the evening.

“Today is the best birthday of my life.” Arya declared. “Why is that?” Hanuman Singh asked. “Because today my mumma and papa both are with me and it will be my first birthday party where I’ll cut the cake with both of them by my side.” Arya explained as she again hugged both her parents. “Hmm..matlab hamari toh koi importance hi nahi hai is ghar mein.” Hanuman Singh complained. “Nanu, you are the best.” Arya said and came to sit in his lap.

All were having breakfast when Arya came running holding her two photographs. “Papa, which one is the best?” She asked. “Both are good. Why do want to pick one?” Neil replied. “Because madam ki demand hai ki unhe aaj sham ki party ke liye special cake chahiye with her photo on the top.” Rani di explained. “Tell me na, which one is best.” Arya asked again as she held both photos in her hand. Neil looked at both the photos. Arya was holding them in such a way that her eyes and nose were visible from first photo and beneath it there was second photo in which her lips and chin was visible. Suddenly something struck in Neil’s mind as he looked at both the photos and remembered Bobby Bhatia’s photo. That mark on his forehead which he thought he has seen somewhere.

“F**k!” He stood up suddenly from the breakfast table as he finally realized whats the mystery behind Bobby Bhatia. “Neil…language.” Mini remind him while glaring at him and gesturing towards Arya. “Mumma, what does that means?” Arya asked innocently. “Nothing princess…it means nothing…forget about it.” Neil tried to cover up. Mini glared him one more time while Hanuman almost choked on his breakfast as he tried to control his laughter.

“Dad, come we need to go immediately. I guess I found out who is Bobby Bhatia.” Neil said and almost pulled Hanuman Singh with him. Both of them quickly got in the car while Mini ran behind them and finally managed to stop them at last moment. “Neil, today is Arya’s birthday party. Be there on time…don’t mess this up….I am warning you or else…..” Mini made her intentions clear. “Of course, I wont miss it for anything. Just like Arya said, its her best birthday because both of us are here. How could I miss it.” Neil assured her and gestured the driver to start the car.

“Tell me something at least now or else I’ll die of suspense.” Hanuman said as he followed Neil into the police station. “Bring me the files of all the victims.” Neil ordered and an officer put the files in front of him. Mickey and other team member also came there to know whats the matter.

“Remember I was telling everyone that the face of Bobby Bhatia seems very familiar.” Neil said. “Yes, it almost felt like we have seen him somewhere but none of us could really put our finger on it.” Mickey replied. “Yes, exactly. And there were no records about him anywhere.” Hanuman said. “Yes, Now look at the photo of Bobby Bhatia.” Neil said and placed his photo on the table. Then he opened the victims file. He took the photo of one of the victim Jackie Chaddha and placed it on the table along side Bobby’s photo. “Look at both of them….the same mark on forehead….same eyes….same nose and now….” Neil took a pause and put photo of another victim Kishore Singh beneath Jackie’s photo. “…now see…again same chin and smile.” Neil completed his sentence.

“That means…..” Hanuamn begin but stopped himself unable to believe it that this Bobby Bhatia’s photo was nothing but just a photoshopped version of two of their already dead victims. “Yes, there is no Bobby Bhatia in reality. Photo is made up of using two victims photos. Upper part from Jackie and lower part from Kishore…fake name…fake identity….just to confuse us…to made us chase the wrong person who doesn’t even exists.” Neil concluded.

“But if Bobby is literally nobody then how come that receptionist Preet at Dr. Isha’s clinic identified him?” Mickey asked in confusion. “Its clear she has told us lie….but why…we have to find out. Arrest her and bring her here then interrogate her. She is crucial for this case. She might know the real killer in person.” Neil instructed.

“What do you mean by real killer? Even if this Bobby Bhatia is fake we have all the other proofs against Sarab Malhotra. Preet might be working on his instructions only.” Hanuman shared his doubts. “Had Sarab Malhotra made confession?” Neil asked. “No sir, we are trying but he keeps repeating that he is innocent.” Mickey informed. “I thought so…” Neil replied. “What do you mean?” Hanuman asked. “I don’t think he is the killer. This killer seems to be very smart. His way of confusing us…his thinking process….its like he is challenging us….laying evidences like riddles for us to discover and get lost in them. I feel he knowingly targeted Sarab Malhotra….Sarab is not a killer…the real killer is still on lose…may be finding out his next victim…” Neil answered.

“You have clearly lied to us Ms. Preet. You could have told us everything when police came to your clinic for inquiry but you didn’t. Five people already died and yet you chose to stay quiet…not only this…you mislead police by identifying Bobby Bhatia when you knew there is no such person like him. Now if you don’t want to be in trouble then speak up the truth.” An lady officer was interrogating Preet while Mickey was watching from outside.

“I am telling you….I don’t know anything.” Preet cried. The lady officer looked at Mickey and Mickey nodded his head giving permission after which the lady officer slapped Preet a few times until she finally confessed that she had indeed lied. “Please stop it. I accept that I lied.” Preet said while crying. Mickey came in and sat in front of her. “Now tell us everything.”

“Akshay Singhania….I don’t know anymore if its his real name or not but he used to come to clinic by this name. He had tumultuous relationship with his father because of which he was suffering from bipolar disorder and anxiety. He also had anger issues. He started talking to me. He slowly befriended me. He was handsome. I fell in love with him. One day he invited me over to his house. But there…..there he…” Preet took a pause as fresh tears came in her eyes. “Don’t worry…tell us everything…we will help you if you are not at fault.” Lady officer encouraged her.

“There he mixed something in my drink making me unconscious then he…he raped me. That dog also had it videotaped. He started blackmailing me with it. He asked me to remove all the footage from cctv of the clinic where he can be seen and he asked me to put records and photos of some fake person Bobby Bhatia’s photos which he gave me. He also asked me the basic details of the victims which we kept in our database for therapy purposes like their address, hobbies, eating habits etc. I had no other option but to give him for what he asked. I didn’t know why he wanted it until I saw in news about the first murder. I wanted to come to police but I was afraid….he had that videotape….he could have destroy my image ….my life with it….I had no other option…please forgive me.” Preet completed her story.

“Preet, we have sympathy with you but….you should have come to us as soon as possible…may be we would be able to stop him earlier. Anyways what is done is done…Atleast now help us. You have seen his real face. Help the sketch artist to make his sketch so that we can identify him.” Mickey explained and Preet agreed to do it.

“Sarab Malhotra, I know that you are not the killer but all proofs are against you. If you want us to help you then you have to help us first.” Neil said as he pulled the chair to sit infront of Sarab. “What can I do?” Sarab asked. “Tell me do you have doubt on anyone? Any enemy who would want to see you behind the bars. Someone close to you who have access to your house to plant the evidence and take your ID for fetching that poison form botanical lab?” Neil asked in details. “No officer…..I don’t have enemy who will go this far…I don’t think of any person right now…I have small family…Me, my three children…we don’t know anyone who can do these murders.” Sarab replied.

“Where are your children? Why they didn’t yet tried for your bail?” Neil asked. “Elder daughter and son are in abroad. I have informed them. They will reach here tomorrow morning.” Sarab replied. “And third child? What about him?” Neil asked now getting curious. “I don’t have any hope from him. He is this same city only but we don’t share cordial relationship. He will never come for my help.” Sarab replied getting upset.

“Whats does he do? Whats his name?” Neil asked as he got a gut feeling that this could be there man. “He is a teacher. His name is….” Sarab stopped in the middle as Mickey came inside. He took Neil aside in one corner and told him everything what Preet has confessed. “Sketch artist is working. It will complete anytime now.” Mickey informed. “Hmm…so Preet put that Bobby’s fake photo there….” Neil said more to himself than to Mickey then suddenly hearing Bobby’s name again a memory flashed in his mind and left him shocked as realization dawned upon him.

“Holy F**k! How could I miss it before. I am such a fool.” Neil cursed himself. “What happened sir?” Mickey asked. “Manmeet…that man….he knew about Bobby Bhatia. We deliberately hide about Bobby Bhatia from media as we didn’t have any information about him. We told media about him only after we arrested this Sarab. Before that nobody knew about Bobby but that day…when I beat him. I remember his words now…he had said, “Tum toh abhi tak Bobby Bhatia mein hi uljhe ho”…how could have known until he himself have created that fake identity and was sure that once police reach Dr.Mehra’s clinic they will be after Bobby Bhatia. That day when I saw him…I was sure he was not normal…he must be suffering from some mental ailment. This Sarab said that his third child….he lives in same city…not all is well in their relationship and he is a teacher….It all fits….that mother f**ker! That MANMEET! He is the one.” Neil concluded.

“Excuse me! Did you say Manmeet? How do you know my son’s name…I was about to tell you.” Sarab Malhotra questioned when he heard his son’s name. Just then the sketch artist also came with his sketch ready as per Preet’s description. Neil looked at it and it was a exact match with Manmeet leaving no doubt about the fact that he is the serial killer they were searching till now.

“Your son…that Manmeet Malhotra….he is the killer. He has killed five innocent people, raped a girl, created fake identity of Bobby Bhatia and planted the evidences in your house to mislead police.” Neil answered Sarab’s questions and show him the sketch and told him everything.

“Oh no! This cant be true….my son…a serial killer? Its all because of me….I pushed him towards this…” Sarab broke down crying his heart out. “What do you mean?” Neil asked from him. “He was very introvert, timid person from his childhood while my other two children were confident and smart. Manmeet always lived in the shadow and protection of his mother. I hated this habit. I tried many times to make him like my other children …I used to punish him…beat him….but he didn’t change his ways. Then my wife passed away. His only support system was gone. Now there was no one to stop me. I used to be very strict with him, always disciplined him and punished him for his lower performance in academics and extra curricular. I used to think that he was a shame on the reputation of my family. I failed to understand and notice that Manmeet was not normal. He suffered from anxiety and that’s why he was like that but I failed to understand this and took this as his lack of interest and stubbornness. I tortured the poor boy not only physically but also mentally I used to abuse him, belittle his efforts his works, compare him constantly with his siblings. I drove him to the edge….Its all my fault…When I realized my mistake it was too late. I had pushed him away from me for ever. ” Sarab shared Manmeet’s story.

I get it that he had troubled childhood and complex relationship with you and mental health problems…..may be what you did to him had pushed him to the limits but I am very sure of one thing; he did all these things not because he was under the effect of any mental problem but because he wanted to do it. The type of planning, the way of murders, all the scheming to frame you….the ability to think about the smallest details…mental patient don’tposses this skill. It needs a calm mind and long planning. Usne bahut soch samajh kar bahut fursat se ye sab kiya hai…aur use iska koi pachhtava bhi nahi hai.” Neil explained.

“Neil, lets go home. We have deployed the forces. They will catch that b*****d soon.” Hanuman Singh reminded Neil about Arya’s birthday. “Ya, lets go.” Just then Mickey came running there and stopped him. “Sir, you have to see this. That b*****d is on tv.” Mickey informed and switched on the tv.

“Patiala Serial killings case mein ek sansanikhej mod aa gaya hai. Police ne Sarab Malhotra ko arrest kiya tha leking ab humare sutro se pata chala hai ki police ab Sarab ke beta Manmeet Malhotra ki talash kar rahi hai. Isi beech ek aadmi ne khud hamare chanel ko ek audio clip bheja hai. Ye aadmi khudko Manmeet Malhotra bata raha hai aur accept kar raha hai ki saare murders usne hi kiye hai aur kal wo phir se ek murder bilkul usi andaaz mein karega. Manmeet Malhotra ne SIT ke incharge officer Neil Oberoi ko challenge kiya hai ki agar wo sach mein super cop hain jaisa ki unke service record ko dekhte hue media ne unhe naam diya hai, toh wo Manmeet ko rok kar dikhaye.” News tv anchor finished her headlines.

Everyone was stunned after listening to the news. “Mickey call the news chanel and asked for that audio clip Manmeet send him. Ask the progress from all the search parties. Security tight karo…” Neil fired instructions after instructions forgetting about all the things. Hanuman Singh knew now there is no time and even scope left to remind him again about Arya’s birthday. Forget about Neil, Hanuman himself wontbe able to go there for more than 10 minutes now. He could predict what effect it will have on Mini and Neil’s relationship but the situation was like that he couldn’t also do anything about it. He was feeling helpless as he could see all his efforts will go in vain. On one side there was Mini’s happiness and on other there was probability of a murder of another innocent person and they had just one day to save that person. Again that dilemma of duty and family…sometimes he feels like policemen are eternally cursed with this dilemma. Hanuman Singh sighed and got busy in work.
