Great article! Anyone a mile away can see how this has been a systemic attack on Bollywood and left wing agencies by a very right wing government. I said this a while ago, even in the midst of nepotism debates, dragging Shahrukh and the other Khans in while ignoring Akshay was a clear indication of what the issue is.

Bollywood, with its liberal culture, was very much disliked by a few.

And before anyone says anything, I've personally seen those accounts that were all created June 2020 onwards, literally going around attacking all Bollywood celebs, pro BJP, pro Kangana, with SSR pics. I run Kareena's fan club and everyday you just block a bunch of bot accounts. Other celeb fan clubs have told me the same. These are not your average people, these are agenda driven accounts.

Very insightful article...thanks for sharing👍🏼

Agree with each and every word

And for those trying to vilify Bollywood, please introspect. Bollywood has both good and bad, flawed people. It's not a hot-bed of sin, out to corrupt a pristine nation. That notion is bullshit😆

Absolutely! There are bad and rotten apples everywhere. Every industry and organization has them. Nothing to vilify and claim moral authority especially from the likes of sell out journalists and politicians

People attacking it saying all sorts of things. Which industry is pure and pious? This happens everywhere. Sounds like they haven't stepped out into the real world at all 😆

😕I don't know what industry you work in but if someone in my industry were found to be involved with terrorists (Sanjay Dutt), ran over footpath people (Salman Khan), assaulted an old man and hunted black bucks (Saif Ali Khan), had allegations of sexual assault that too multiple times (Rajkumar Hirani) and the list goes on, I would literally be boycotted forever.

Yahan pe toh such people are celebrated and worshipped...matlab ke fans ko unki fart bhi perfume lagti hai 😕

Are you suggesting that you know everything about everyone at your industry? The wealthy and the ones with power get away with a lot anywhere in any industry.

Of course! Like I always said, is hammam mein sab nangey hai. Just like the deshbhakts worship their leaders, the fans/PR too make it seem like the rotten apple celebs shit gold and glitter.

Are we really gonna pretend that in Hollywood celebs don't get busted for drug use, go to rehab, openly talk about it, even illegal drugs, get into legal trouble and scuffles and bar fights, captured in drunken state, get mug shots?

I would like to see people who are from India and live here and work for India talk about things , sitting in AC room and commenting how Bollywood is treated is easy , they wanted to see if there is threat from Bollywood for integrity of India , so what ,

this paper and the guy writing are bakhtha of we know what ,

Everyone is answerable .

I am not in favour of screaming host but I do not see anything grossly off in checking

How does it matter what Hollywood stars are doing , they set bad example to their citizen , their country , it’s their problem
