It was on the sets of Tashan that we came closer and that was when Saif took me out for a candlelit dinner and proposed to me. By then I was too much in love with him to have said no."

But ask her would it be right to marry while at the peak of her career, "Why not? I didn't say I'd stop working after marriage. Today I've already reached the Rs 3.5 crore package and I hope to work and earn more in the coming years. No its not publicity. Saif and kareena have both invested TOO much time in this relationship for this to be just a publicity. Besides, Tashan is filled with superstars. Why would yash raj need this kinda desperate publicity?
If anything, this is an April Fool's joke by Times of India.

this could possibly be an april fools joke as she neverrrr mentions the figures of her income per movie and she also said marriage can wait 5 years. besides her proffesional career schedule is packed for the next 2 yearz.

she cant even spare a single day to do her packing and shift house let alone get time off to arrange 4 shaadi and get married lol.

Ok guys, till I get some confirmation, I've come to the conclusion that this article is fake. An april fool's joke.
Lemme tell you why. That does NOT sound like kareena. All this time, she's been avoiding talking about saif, and then just leaves the future off as uncertain. She pushes any thoughts of marriage about five to six years forward, so how in the world would she randomly just agree to get married next month. Another thing, it so doesnt sound like her to say, "I know how I'm looking forward to that day. ITs gonna be really soon infact" Less than a month ago, she laughed off any such rumors, and both her AND saif refuted any chance of them tying the knot this soon.
Another thing that sounds really fabricated. "During tashan, saif took me to a candle lit dinner and proposed to me, but by that time, I was too much in love to say no". From what i know, they just GOT to know each other during tashan, and JUST started going out. How is it possible for them, in this short time span, to get to know each other, start dating, and even propose? That sounds strange. If anything, talks of marriage must've started a lot later than tashan. Tashan was still dinner dates and getting to know the other better. She couldnt already have "BEEN IN LOVE" by then.
Falling in love, sure, but not already decided. Besides, this candle lit dinner scenario is so sterotypical, that its too picture perfect for reality sometimes. LIke do you get what I"m saying? Do you see how a reporter will make up this story of "took me to a candle lit dinner and proposed" coz its so stereotypical, so ppl actually will believe it.
Overall, its a HUGE plunge. I just dont buy it. Not until there are other articles which confirm this, or one of em talks about it.

noo way this is such a stupid article just couple of weeks ago she was saying that she doesnt want to get married yet and now post tashan she wants to get married yh whatever 😆 😆

or maybe, post the release of Tashan this month, they'll go their separat ways 😆
