If you want to judge Mumbai police, you can surely make judgement about it on one basis. Vinay Tiwari was quarantined when he reached Mumbai. Why? He said investigation was quarantined , not him.

Arriving at what is presumed to be the correct conclusion with numerous missteps and errors is not considered a job well done - they just got lucky. It does bring to light the issue of whether their previous cases were handled similarly or not though.

Doesn’t mean the aftermath that followed is justifiable - but people “boasting” Mumbai Police’s findings in 3.5 days or whatever is pure idiocy and laughable.
