Laadla is such a regressive movie. One of the worst examples using the 'Taming of the shrew' trope. Sridevi whatever her faults was a good business woman. So how did the movie end? She gave up a job she loved and makes tiffin for her husband while rival Raveena lords it over as the boss.

Yes Sri was brilliant in the film but the storyline is so shitty and regressive 🤢
