2011 and 2012 was golden period for starplus..

I still remember saathiya, sasural genda phool, ipkknd, ehmmbh, dabh, YRKKH, navya, pratigya, maryada...each and every show was hit in its own way despite so much competition from rival channels.... During those days star plus was number one for long time...all the above mentioned shows including saathiya had intersting storyline, that was the reason all shows were hit .....from past 2-3 years strong content is missing, even if it has content it just lasts for 100 episodes or 150 episodes max ...after that dragging or stupid remarriages, death or reincarnation, double identity kinda entries for leads etc etc became too common in shows 🤦 star plus needs to bring back that 2011 and 12 kinda shows now ...not remakes of regressive contents 😤😤

one good thing about star plus is, they did try different concept oriented shows in past...but in greed of trp they shut those shows in few months...they need to plan different timeslots for such shows not prime time if at all they plan to bring such shows...

Totally agree with you chandu, SP has gone nuts.

Even in past two years SP launched so many shows with popular faces like kzk, yrhpk, ek bhram, khkt, Sanjivni, yjhjk and yhc. All these shows had huge online craze and yrhpk Sanjivni and khkt used to trend almost everyday. All these shows were different and unique, SP could have hit jackpot with these shows but idiots butchered all these shows and shut them one after the other, only kzk, yjhjk and yrhpk were on air and now they are ending these shows also to bring these regressive crap remakes. They have literally ruined their channel's goodwill, after khkt fd, yrhpk fd is also going to boycott them. They themselves have pushed online audiences away from their channel. Do they think with these regressive content anybody would subscribe to hotstar vip, the current subscribes not going to renew it. The current shows on SP dont appeal to the youth, these online fandoms used to hype SP but now they have none.

Leads excuse me are you talking about those 2 side characters who are given lollipop scenes woh bhi 2 mins ka 🤔🤔 The other 2 mins they get they are seen doing baby sitting stuff to the very deep dark layered characters 😆 Baaki unko apna kaam dhundha thodi hai koi 😆 unke ptsd issues , abondomnet issues, insecurity issues woh sab sideline ho gaye cuz someone's bachpanna ke insecurities khatam hi na ho rahe 😆😆 aur kehte hai yeh 2 side characters ki wajah se trp giri wah wah 🤪🤣

Thank God they showed what kuhu actually is lol, may be to give mirror to those who wanted to form a refined beautiful version of her🤣🤪 khair but majority always knew what she is but were waiting for her redemption khair now will she be called out or not uspe bhi doubts hai 😆

And to suit all this , not only leads characterisation went for a toss but so many pleasant side characters got done away with without proper closures ....👏 ....ab pata nahi what will they show for next 2 weeks ... makers don't love their show and they are proving it now in a very sad manner...its a shame.

Wish someday I get to know aisa kyun Hua but kabhi nahi pata chalega cuz it will all remain in speculation and we will never know ❓

All this just makes me happy for the cast , they really deserve better , much better than what they are getting now ...kabhi nahi dekha aisa show jo khud hi suicidal mode pe chala gaya and the creators aren't bothered but blame the audience for not watching at this rate they are also wiping off the goodwill this show created at one point of time.

New shows ko launch karne mein bahut paise lagte hein na..like making new sets, giving that fresh look to show etc etc...itna karcha already existing shows ke liye proper writers ko hire karne mein kiya hota tho e sudden off airs nahi tha ...

Anyways good luck to new shows..if it works good for them and channel, if it doesn't they will end those shows abruptly and launch new ones. Actors, channel, producers will move on quickly it's only us fans who become fools by getting attached to shows😒😒

According to IF's latest article, YJHJK had got extension till IPL ends. Also it has been mentioned that as YJHJK's budget is higher than YRHPK it is retaining. 😐

SP is one shitty channel. When ipkknd1 was on air they never bothered even promoting it properly. Only when it went off air did they realise how popular it is and managed milk it to the T by bringing in ipk2, ipk3. That show was so famous online.. even the forum is biggest one till date.

And Abhi behena wala show remake karne ka point kya hai I don’t know.. it’s an iconic show and storyline b sabko yaad hai.
I am not gonna renew my Hotstar subscription for sure . And this ph is the shittiest of all.. not watching any of their shows anytime in the future.
