No one should be judged for their guilty pleasures. At the end of the day they are pleasures. We used to have sajan chale sasural or sandwich as our fav movies due to re runs on tv

Appreciation for the finer things in life in Baahubali's case would be cinematography, visual effects, the way it portrays the duality of life with so much extravaganza, character and values, the simulation of the upper realm that happens everyday in the lower realm, etc.

I didn't find it matching to its hype. I'm a sucker for emotions and subtlety. For sure technically it's one of the best movie india produced.

I didn't like GOW as well although that's God level cinema for many.

I’ve watched neither of the movies you mentioned but I bet it was still a better movie than Mein Prem Ki Dewaani Hoon and Jaani Dushman 😆

While I LOVED it - Watched it 3 to 4 times in a row after watching for the very first time - 😆

I was blown away with the simplistic approach in its storyline yet the impact it left was gruesome. Beautiful cinematography too and not to mention its haunting soundtrack, which I am still addicted to! 😆

I heard they are making a sequel - Let's see if it ever gets made and if it lives up to its predecessor!
