Vanraj will turn two- timer towards Kavya as well?

Was strange to see Vanraj sharing a moment of laughter and togetherness with Anupama in yesterday’s episode over his aversion to the word “Sasur”. Did not seem forced or fake on Vanraj’s part as he laughed along with Anupama. She was almost teasing him. Anupama hugging Vanraj when he repulsed her also came as a surprise to me, the viewer.

Anupama’s and Vanraj’s relationship has been shown differently so far - him yelling at her, for water, for coffee/chai, food, whatever, and her trembling to run and serve at his beck and command. There has been no warmth or closeness let alone even a momentary tenderness shown between them until now. Vanraj pulling up a chair and waiting for Anupama to return from hanging out with her friends was frightening. He has been portrayed to all intents and purposes as an abusive husband. She has been portrayed as a woman with the classic Stockholm syndrome.

Yet, the last few episodes are showing us the viewers a different side of this couple’s relationship. Yes, we are aware he is play acting to be romantic, to love/care for his wife, etc. But that is not what is surprising or different. Anupama’s closeness with her husband, her daring to laugh at him, her impulsive hugging of him, all reveal a time in their relationship that was warmer, happier, more normal. Is she being more uninhibited with him now that he is fake showering care upon her? But then even in the episode where she grabbed his arm to dance, the time when Rakhi rudely interrupted the family, even though there was hesitation in Anupama, there was also this sense of right that she had over him. She grabbed his arm like she was used to doing that. The same when they did Aarti too.

And Dolly mentioned that her brother always buys gifts for Anupama, presents her with saris, mehengi and nice too by the looks of it. No wonder Anupama believes her husband loves her?

What has all this got to do with Kavya? Well, Vanraj looked displeased that Kavya had worn Anupama’s sari. He remembered his gift so shows he had not picked a random sari for his wife just for the sake of gifting but had put some thought behind the giving. He also did not seem to like that Anupama had lent that sari to Kavya. He warned Kavya in no uncertain terms that she and him were a different item than him and his family, the two were separate and better to keep them separate. He walked off looking annoyed.

Again, when Kavya sat at the table taking Anupama’s place in the pre-cap, Vanraj did not look too happy. Is the man using Kavya for a little bit of fun on the side? Is Anurag right about Kavya needing to be saved from a bad man like Vanraj? The two, Vanraj and Kavya, no doubt deserve every bit of evil in each other and hope they both get cheated by the other but these are questions to ponder.

I can't wait Vanraj finds someone else - and kavya gets to know it...

IMO - persons like Vanraj are more dangerous than persons like kavya husband ( I am not saying what ever he is was doing is right -to beat wife or other stuff)

- still he is easy to deal with - however he is - open and out ! So you prepare yourself what to expect from them.

- but vanraj - when ever anu knows the entire truth - I hope family helps her to deal with the reality - she is in her la la land.

Agree with you. Vanraj is using his power as Kavya’s superior at work, her boss, to curry favors from his younger, talented subordinate. Cause enough for a harassment suit if Kavya is clever enough to bring charges against him or blackmail him into leaving Anupama and marrying her.

Cannot wait for Anupama to find out about Vanraj’s dhoka - liked her steel today - the writers are slowly changing/developing her character, preparing the viewers for the showdown. She spoke with authority against Kamini, told Kamini in no uncertain terms that she, Anupama, will not brook deceit and cheating. She will forgive mistakes but never a deliberate intent to cheat. Vanraj does not know what is coming to him.

As for the way Anupama showed Kavya her place, not once but three times, put in perspective what Kavya truly is - a house breaker who is trying to wrest her way into Anupama’s haven. Anupama’s matter of fact comparison of Kavya to Jilmil, pulling the tepla that Kavya so insolently served off Vanraj’s plate and replacing it with the one she prepared with the advice to Kavya to stick to eating, and lastly in the precap, the iron in her voice as she raised her hand and told Kavya that whilst she, Anupama, as mother and wife had the right to speak between father and son, Kavya had no authority to speak between Vanraj and Samar.

If the show goes Sreemoyee way, Anupama will eventually find out and Vanraj will marry Kavya later.

Later he will realize how much he has been taking Anupamaa for granted.

However, Vanraj has never really intended to leave Anupamaa and marry Kavya, she was always his comfort out of his sexual midlife crisis. If you look at it in a way, he has never truly loved any of them, and a third person is probably out of question.

Does he fall out of love with Kavya in Sreemoyee? I hope they change the story and that Vanraj does not marry Kavya in this.

You are right, Vanraj does not love either woman, they are both conveniences of a different sort for him and he uses them both for his own selfish reasons.

I really wish..... then

- he finds some one else - similar to Anupama (may be planted by some one (may be kavya ex) to act like Anupama and fool vanaraj to get back on kavya ) ... and falls for her (at least he thinks he loves her - bandar gulati nahi bhulta😊) and cheats on kavya ….. or openly dates that third lady.....

on other side -Anupama is getting stronger and independent ….

@ bold is the answer for your confusion..only difference is vanraj is abusive by words to his wife amd anurag is abusive by beating kavya,doubting her,which may would have made kavya to go for another man..

vanraj is a wolf..he wants slave to serve his family who charges nothing for her services as well as a seducive woman like kavya,who will come running to him wheneverhe needs physical pleasure..for him, both of the woman are use and through materials..mem are selfish..they want beaitiful,rich and smart woman but who is submissivetoo...pure selfish creatures.. a man can never love his woman without a reason and if its unconditional,then its only in movies amd dramas..

Anuraag was too busy with building his career, not successfully according to the conversation Kavya and him were having, which is what made Kavya leave him.

Vanraj is a wolf, yes, preying on Kavya and treating Anupama as a chattel.
