I know in real life it is not possible to leave a person who is batting for life . But in real life also when a person is in a critical situation his loved one has to act strong and do the other things which need to be done ... like arranging money and if it is an accident case they have to complete police procedure .

Also Ranbir was there for Prachi till the doctor took charge and till the doctor did their work he can do other things like helping police in investigation so that criminals didn't run away because if they delay that procedure then might criminals can run away and it will be difficult for police to catch ... Also he knows Pragya is there for Prachi who cares for Prachi more than Ranbir . so Ranbir can help police is actually right ....

I Feel that only crying is not about caring for that person but what things you will do for them in that situation and Ranbir is doing perfect thing right now (just my POV)
