Katrina on the other hand still gets work. Katrina started in 2003 and is still getting plum projects. “Career span” wise I think it’s Katrina.

Deepika is without doubt the bigger star, but Katrina is close.

2 wooden superstars which leaves space for someone mediocre like Alia to claim the mantle of actress.

The prior gens had mediocre superstars like Madhuri and Kajol, but because they weren't terrible, the actual actors had to be better - like Tabu and Rani and Manisha. Juhi, though typecast, could act.

Kajol was never a superstar though. She just had a good year or two during 1997-1998. There was no craze for her. Only the average looking girls used to root for her coz Kajol was average looking.
