Whatever be her disrespectful thoughts towards Parul and her haisiyat in life and in RJV house, she isn't ill treating Parul for it. She didn't want Parul massaging her feet but she wanted Mishti to be at her beck and call with the macademia nuts and milkshake. She is scared of being known as Parul's bahu, she is scared of shifting downstairs where Parul stays, she is scared of being given Parul's place in the future. So, now she has decided that one of them will be the future Meenu and the other the future Parul of the house, and Mishti should be the one to take Parul's place. Pehle it was only about Kunal's status and Kunal's rights, now it is mostly about HER place in the house. Not even once did she think two couples can be equally important and coexist in the future with their children, as a happy family. Meenu threatened to reduce her to Parul's level indirectly and instigated her to do this to Mishti instead. It's like this surrogacy is the deciding factor that will determine her status, as painted by Meenu. She isn't a team player like Mishti, else she would've realised that she could have joined hands with Mishti instead and everybody would win. Her happiness always lies in her victory because she has always been so selfish that she won't be able to see or care about the collateral damage she will cause in the process.

Basically Meenu and Kuhu joined hands against Mishti, their common enemy. Ever since Mishbir wedding Meenu has been instigating Kuhu against Mishti by playing on her inferiority complex of being Parul’s bahu. Of course Kuhu won’t leave any chance to humiliate Mishti and pull her down! She cannot stand the fact that Mishti married the Real Rajvansh Abir while the sports car hunk she chose was the illegitimate son of Mehul, not related to RJVs at all.

Meenu’s horrible abuses calling illegitimate children kisika Paap and Ganda khoon also affected Kuhu as both Kunal and herself are illegitimate.
Yes, now it’s all about HER, not about Kunal or anyone else, it’s all about her supremacy in the family, relegating Mishti to Parul’s place. Narcissistic Personality Disorder at display here, narcissists only feel great when they put their enemies down!

We have to assume years, show mein thode dikha sakta hain! But I'm still waiting to see how this goes. Even marginally good episodes reel me back in because of the acting.

She has had years of experience but she keeps falling for it when Kuhu sympathizes with her when she is in trouble. Abir would have refused if Mishti had not agreed. I'm just saying that making a decision is the only thing in your hands, once it is made the only thing under your control is how you react to what happens, and not what happens.

I blame Kuhu too for her behavior with Mishti, but I didn't expect any different from her when it comes to Mishti. Imagine how she would be feeling now. She would think she was giving Mishti her life is she gave Mishti her pencil, so when she is giving her a baby, she is bound to do all this. The added dimension of the baby is what makes Kuhu's behavior really despicable for me. I can't even feel happy about Meenu being blackmailed by her because all I can think about is that innocent baby! The way she agreed not to terminate just so she could lord over Mishti also repulsed me.

I also agree about it being difficult to live apart for the brother, but I really don't like how easily MishBir gave in.

MishBir always give in for family. Unfortunately, for two pure souls like them, they didn't get the families they deserve and so they are suffering for keeping family first. Mish had all the warning signals of course and deep down she knows that Kuhu won't change, so she shouldn't have agreed but I don't know what else would Kuhu have tried. Maybe Mish should have waited for her next move. Kuhu can go to any extreme to get her way like all the things she tried to marry Kunal. She threatened to move out but we know she won't be able to go to Dubai because that business is still under Meenu's control.

The thing is Kuhu never pretended to change towards Mishti earlier. They pretended together in front of family and even genuinely teamed up to get each other out of trouble (like Abir was saying, the sisters come together in times of adversity), but Mishti was aware all those times that Kuhu still saw her as competition and as an enemy. Kuhu didn't pretend to be nice to her in their room or whenever they were unobserved.

The Kuhu at the temple was the one who apologised for not being a good sister and helped her defeat Varun, the one who organised a pity party to make her feel better after the devastating news of being "infertile" (that's probably not the word), the one who didn't want her to leave the house and finally the one who acknowledged and enumerated all of Mishti's sacrifices for her. Even if the magazine kaand had happened in the interim, it resulted in them becoming apparently closer and sisterly later. There was a definite shift in the status quo at this point and Mishti probably thought she can deal with Kuhuness and her obsession with the limelight because Kuhu has always been like that and this isn't exactly an evil trait. Which is why Mish was all ready to take care of Kuhu and her needs and comfort by herself and to fulfil her wishes. Like Abir was saying to himself, Mish has been keeping Kuhu first all this time. And it would've all worked out if Kuhu appreciated all of it. Instead she is choosing to misuse it, to infact abuse it.

Should Mishti have known and accepted that leopards don't change their spots? Is she aware of this but wanted to give Kuhu a chance? Was it still against her better judgement but the fact that Kuhu is family (like it or not) influence her decision? I think it is the whole situation unfolding and spiralling the way it did that should be considered, as a whole. Ideally, she was wrong and should have known better, so should Abir. Mishti giving her approval doesn't excuse his tacit agreement. What is his purpose if he can't help his partner when she makes a tough decision? He was equally moved that day. Both forgot their following discussion in the NGO to refuse Kuhu later. Both listed the reasons too and Abir also acknowledged MishKu relationship not having healed entirely. Still they agreed and I also held my head at the time. But when I reflected on everything that happened, has happened with MishBir since the beginning, it wasn't surprising that they got talked into it for everyone's happiness.

Since double wedding Kuhu has been repulsive and sadistic towards Mishti. Even during PTSD track she was throwing vile abuses and accusations at Mishti inspite of Abir reiterating that Mishti was suffering from illness. Kuhu is a sadistic narcissist and enjoys hurting Mishti when she’s down and out.

I have had no expectations from this character Kuhu since just before Mishbir wedding when she slapped Mishti and threw blame at her saying Mishti knew all about KuKu divorce and even she didn’t tell Mah family. When it was Kuhu who begged Mish all along not to tell anyone.

Since then it’s been a downward spiraling fall into darkness and now she’s just plain Evil. She even looked evil in that recent scene with Meenu, I was expecting to see horns grow out of her head.

Ok Daya, finish it off as you started in it and have attachment with entire characters. Maybe you can get any good ending atleast.

Yup they do, and then suffer the consequences! I understand it was beautifully orchestrated and they fell for it, and like you said earlier, I didn't blame Kuhu at this point or when she decided to terminate her pregnancy. I only blame her for what's happening now and how she is using the baby. If it was only about securing her position, she could have done the same by being not necessarily being nice but at least not being nasty to Mishti.

bold:SIghhh...

italic:If only... Would have solved all problems. Also then she wouldn't be the villain and would have instead been the lead of the show in the true sense.

They could have at least had happy tracks when the show is ending anyway. I don't see the need for this drama when they don't have to worry about TRPs anymore.
