He was living it up and enjoying the typical young Hollywood lifestyle. Just like the show Entourage that was his favorite.

As soon as he became a movie star, he started dating one starlet after another, partying and doing drugs, going on luxury vacations with his gfs, and enjoying the perks of his fame and money. He was no different from anyone else and led the same kind of debauched lifestyle with his roommates and pals. Unfortunately, he also had a mental illness so it created a dangerous combination.

At this point, I'm starting to think it was more than just weed. He must have been addicted and not having access to drugs during the lockdown made things unbearable for him. The NCB won't leak chats related to his drug use the way they did with the other actors because they have a huge interest in maintaining the saint SSR propaganda to keep people hooked to this media trial.
