Why do Indian-origin politicians never make it big in the US?

The only Indian-American politicians I can think of are Ro Khanna, Pramila Jayapal and Nikki Haley.

Would you like to see an Indian-American politician become the president or vice-president one day? Comment.

Because of low population percentage possibly, I mean there is no use to using them as trump card anyways.

Plus Indians over there are mostly above poverty, earn well and don't really have the "marginalized, misguided and poor" card to play.

It's not really a card for Blacks and Hispanics, actually. They actually ARE poor and marginalized.

Do you mean Indian ethnicity or Indian born? Cos there’s Tulsi Gabbard, Kamala Harris, Bobby Jindal etc? On the British side, BoJo’s cabinet is full of Indians lol. Priti Patel, Alok Sharma, Rishi Sunak etc all in key positions. I really am holding my breath that Rishi Sunak stands a good chance to go from Chancellor to PM one day. Never say never. 🤷🏽‍♀️

Tulsi Gabbard is Samoan-American. She's Hindu but has no connection to India.

Bobby Jindal is a self-hating twat, so can't really call him an Indian. Kamala Harris is Black.

😆Even if I hate Bobby Jindal, he’s visibly Indian and was elected despite that. Kamala is half and if anything, actually grew up with her Tamil single mother. My bad about Tulsi, always assumed she had Fiji-Indian connections but obv not.

She identifies as Black though. The American media always refers to her as Black and most Americans on social media think she's fully Black. Hell, Donald Trump Jr. himself didn't know that she was half-Indian a few months back. 😆

That's cause identifying as Indian won't earn her any victim points.
