Fans have kept the forum active for 9 yrs and still visit this forum.

Many Inactive fans and writers have come back after years during the lock down so it's not exactly inactive.

Next yr will be the 10th anniversary of the show give us a chance to make it huge.

Most of us stayed back because IPK forum holds special place and memories in our lives. IPK ending was abrupt but thanks to the forum we managed to come to terms with it.

Pls don't shutdown the forum that way too at a time when things are difficult due to the pandemic is hard because this forum gives us a break from real life.

Last few weeks I have been away due to some personal reasons and I didn't know I would come back to this. I know I might sound silly but I am emotional and somewhere deep down I feel IPK has been lucky for me and this shutting down is kinda made me feel sad. Being bed ridden for a few yrs wasnt easy everyone except the family moved on like I never existed. That's when I found IPK and this forum. Apart from my family the only good times I have had is all the celebration related to Arshi or birthdays. I learnt to make vms edits and I participated in OS contests here. I don't know about others but there are members like me who don't seem active but we are here.

I really don't want this to end not now at least. I didnt know it'd be difficult to let go. 8 yrs this forum has been a part of my life and has given me friends and hope in the toughest time of my life.

I'll try to be active here if at all they let this remain open.

I humbly request the Mods not to shut this down and give us all something good to hold on to in these tough times. So many of us are emotionally attached.

If you were shutting down other forums one can understand but this shutting down and Star stop airing RabbaVe from yesterday abruptly too. It does make one wonder why this haste to shut IPK and the forum

Hello!

I'm sorry for getting back a little late. I saw your message but had work commitments at that time and was busy afterwards in drafting and putting out various posts and PMs on the forum.

On that note, let me first tell you that we have been given a chance! Shown a Ray of Hope! You can read the proper details in this thread -

https://www.indiaforums.com/forum/iss-pyaar-ko-kya-naam-doon/5177285/important-news-for-writers-01-10

Coming back to your message, I understand that it was a big shock for us because we never really thought of such a possibility. Our forum is more or less active - that is what we thought. I've explained this in my post, the admins are measuring activity other than FFs, because they have the opinion that FFs can just be shifted to FF forum and a separate forum is not required if that's the only discussion going on.

Although I don't agree to the method they opted for (giving a warning and a review period before such shocking news would have been a better way to go, IMHO) but one has to see their point too. We truly don't have much activity apart from FFs.

I'm sorry for what you have gone through. Even though my life is nowhere like yours, I'm as emotionally invested in IPKKND and this forum. It has been become an indispensable part of my life and I pop in and out of the forum continuously through the day and still rewatch IPK from time to time.

You're right, I cried for days on end when IPK had ended and this forum helped me get to terms with things and allowed me to continue having IPK as a part of my daily life. And I've cried again upon receiving the forum closure news (getting teary eyed even now while writing) so I would be the last person to think of you as silly for getting emotional.

But let's learn a lesson from this and amend things. Let's be determined to make them change their decision and also for ensuring that such a situation doesn't arise in the future again.

Pandemic or not, this place has been our peace haven, our Sapno Ki Duniya when the Asli Duniya was being Bedard. And its in our hands to save our virtual home. We have seen in the past, IPK fans have the power to change authority's decisions - whether it may be Star Plus or IF forum admins.

Let's do this - once again!

Love,

Stuti

Hi thanks for replying Stuti

I too cried yesterday. Like I said I already was low and this added to it.

I read your post about our forum on review. I'll comment further on that thread.

Hehe.. even after the need for it has ended, seems like we were all keeping an eye on this thread. 😉

The last time I checked, it was 299 and I thought let me come and check within a day or two... it will surely cross 300. But then I became busy with the marriage events going on and just noted this when I saw your reply.

The news of the forum closure had spread so quickly and the link to this poll was shared to so many people.. that some may be becoming active late and noticing it now 😄. We had around 200 votes in just 2 days or so... that is in itself an achievement and tells us how many people still want this forum alive and kicking

And they were thinking the forum is inactive! Hmph! 😏😋 😆
