I fail to understand this , even if it's a favouritism, what's the purpose of turning a character so toxic that it just invites hate from the audience ?

Why not use the favouritism to make kuhu a pleasant character and likeable instead? Audience is not crazy ...they love characters when they are pleasant 😒 yeb kaisa favouritism hai bhai character acha banate toh log pasand karte

Ending will show Mishbir will give their kid to KuKu because Kuhu will refuse to part with the kid not out of maternal affection (Huh as if! That🤬doesn’t have a heart) but she will want to hold on to the kid for upper hand over Mishti like Meenu had snatched Kunal from Parul

So Mishbir will adopt a kid and live in the same house because Abir will never leave Nanko and his baby.

All this is because Badi Maa had told Abir long before about Yashoda and Devaki, so birth mother Mishti will never get rights on her child and Kuhu will get to bring him/her up! Great ending to RS created nightmare. RIP
