Agree 100%! Also love the bit under your comment about elite women like Rhea using feminism for their own ends and making genuine victims of patriarchy suffer 😔
Unfortunately that's what happens to every movement.. A philosophy that starts for the betterment and gradually turns into something that's used by the powerful and not who actually need it.. Because they are unaware of its existence..We live in a world where likes of this one talk about patriarchy and women still believe that the husband is the parmeshwar and can treat you in any way ...Women empowerment is the term they are averse to.. And sadly because of women like these.. we let go the genuine cases as well..
Had read it once and have saved this part of the article....
Tribal feminism laid out a specific set of beliefs — that everywhere you look there is constant oppression from the patriarchy, that masculinity is inherently violent, and that the only differences between men and women are figments of our cultural imagination, not based on biology or science. That knowledge itself is a form of patriarchy and oppression.
Once a philosophy goes tribal, its beliefs no longer exist to serve some moral principle, but rather they exist to serve the promotion of the group.
