While I was watching the entry of Bajaj episodes last year, I saw that phase when Veena is in jail, framed by Moh. I was appalled. That basically set the tone for me as to the expectations from the character.

Its totally bad and sad.

I have only watched the AnunePre ko kyun maara track. As a character Prerna has been given no agency. Poor thing has a horrible family, even they don't care for her minus the men (for me both choices are unworthy).

It would have been easiest to show some angst if she is not able to unlove Anurag. How easy it would have been to show her hate herself for that. The writers don't write any monologues for her, as if she doesn't matter if not for a half of a pair. Showing a breakdown about Sneha is too much to expect from this set of writers.

All types of characters exist on TV, she doesn't have to be the strongest or the smartest. It is like if the writers give her any agency she will be forced to dump these two men like hot potatoes. Addressing a woman as cheez that too in front of her, that is a real low blow, even for the fag end of the show. Simply deplorable 🤢

even then she doesn't follow through. in the ML track when Komo tried to kill her baby, Prerna went to BB & slapped & threatened to kill Komo if she ever tried it again. i remember everyone cheering & appreciating the 'tigress Prerna' 😆 but the very next week when Komo kidnapped her, & shock horror tried it again, she didn't even reveal her identity . the kidnapper even said Prerna KNOWS she still DIDN'T reveal it & no one even ASKED her i mean where did the tigress go? 🤔

funny how people have selective amnesia 😆 totally blame CV's for thinking of & writing such an inconsistent character, even Komo was given more preference, writing wise 🤪
