Nice review again as usual. Regarding Veer & Bani, they give out strong vibes of being twin flames - both have more or less the same flaws, same strengths, and twin flames aren't just life partners but they are each other's best friend, guide, mentor, critic, and above all - a divine counterpart. You've already written a fairly detailed & an intricate review. Bani's uncontrolled & hollow hate is totally not worth it, she has to tone it down big time. Till the time Bani continues with that nafrat aur gussa, her divine bonding with Veer won't make any sense at all. Those two priests will always speak in riddles, but they are right, sab bholenaath likh rahe hai. I only hope that Veer keeps on knocking sense into Bani's head till she realises her folly & makes serious amends.

In 12th episode (Saturday), Bani said, "You are a murderer!...you killed Noor!..." So, I don't think she has forgotten about Noor. Honestly speaking, I would have hated my best friend's murderer as well. Of course, Veer didn't kill Noor, but Bani doesn't know that. In one episode, she said, "Lord Shiva cursed me because of him..." I know it's an unpopular opinion but I think she has some reasons. Bani is extremely fierce and dangerous because she is the oldest and the greatest serpent. That's why, Bani seems different from other shape-shifting serpents from previous seasons.

And I think Bani hates Veer because Bani wants to hate Veer and blame him for all the problems that pass her line of vision. Even after living as a human being, she lacks the objectivity of being a human, who cannot see that you cannot punish a person for crimes done in their past life. What he did as Aakesh he got punished by death and that's it. And as far as Noor's death is concerned, to feel anything for Bani, we had to see their relationship being established, but no, they did not. So neither I am able to feel for Noor's death which I also believe is a hoax and neither am I able to feel for Bani. Bani thinks since Aakesh and the cheels were bad back then, they are even worse in this life. They partake in criminal activities, hence they are all murderers as well. All the brothers and senior Cheels are aware of these activities, so Veer too has to be aware. Well, I agree partly it is true, but you cannot pin everything on them. Where is the brain she needs to use to investigate? All the time she is busy getting angry. Either she is fuming or taunting or yelling or raging. Have you seen one normal instance when the woman has actually done something objectively and not on impulse. Arre, I get it she is a shapeshifter, but you are also human for a reason na.

No no. Noor has been on the top of her mind since that triggered her rage for Veer. But now adding to that misery is her separation from Jai.

I mean I really cannot see any intelligent move from Bani's end to actually understand and investigate anything. But if she is the heroine and Adi Naagin, kuch to dikhana padega. I hope next week, kuch aisa ho jisse uski buddhi khul jaaye and she stops acting on impulse. I guess those arrows if Veer takes on himself, then probably Bani will find an anchor. You know Veer and Bani's equation reminds me so much of Shiv and Kali. Kali has unbridled rage and when on a rampage, no one can stop her unless Shiv becomes shav. So Veer has to take those arrows on himself, otherwise Bani ko thehrav nahi milega.

Thanks, Ahili. Appreciate it.😊

To me, they give out strong vibes of Shiv and Kali. Kali is the fiercest version of Gauri, who has unbridled rage and fury, but when she first transformed into this form, she had no control after a point. Shiv had forewarned her that agar krodh vash me rahe to shatru ka nash karta hai varna swayam ka. But she would not stop until Shiv consciously chose to become shav before her which finally gave Kali her thehrav, and she came back to her Gauri form. So this anger needs a pause. I am not saying that misunderstandings vanish in a day, but yes at least if Veer takes arrows on himself, she will stop raging and stop and think. Once that happens and she starts thinking, then things will slowly start falling into place, cause Adi Naagin has to figure things out herself.

I have no problem with her being different and ferocious. But her anger genuinely is all over the place. It needs some kind of direction. Acting only on impulse and not intuition just hurts you in the long run, not the enemy. So she needs to pause. She is roaring and raging and fuming and getting nowhere. In her mind, she has her reasons, fair enough, but till now what has she achieved being an all-powerful naagin and remembering her past - zero. So, she needs to pause, retrospect, and take action accordingly. Not just doing things for the heck of it. That is why it is so easy for others to manipulate her because she has allowed it to happen and not used her mind.

Love the analogy. They do bear resemblances to shiv and kali. What can be cooler than that?

I know right. Cause if you observe Veer, his anger and rage have an underlying subtlety, like he knows how to use it constructively and Bani is completely the opposite of it. Bani has a destructive rage that is impulsive and stupid. When I see them, it reminds me of Shiv and Kali. Shiv hardly gets angry, but when he does, there is no holding him back. But jitna jaldi unko gussa aata hai, utna jaldi unko shaant bhi kiya ja sakta hai. But Kali, she cannot be controlled or tamed because she is fierce and wild, and she is controlled when she receives timely intervention and guidance of Shiv. Shiv was first Gauri's guru, her critic, her guide and then her husband. Veer's role is similar too. He is angry with Bani, but not as much as Bani is. Agar baat jhukne ki aayegi, to Veer har baar jhukega Bani ko rokne ke liye. Veer's strength is that he knows how to constructively use his powers, something which he has trained himself to, but Bani has no training. She is raw when it comes to utilise her power constructively, which can be given direction and guidance of Veer. Veer will be the teacher, friend, companion, critic, guide, lover, and husband which Bani really needs in her role as Adi Naagin. And Bani will lend Veer and family some lessons in being more human. Veer will be the anchor to Bani's Adi Naagin side and Bani will be the anchor to Veer's human side.

Heya fellas, apologies to all those who were waiting for my take on the Saturday and Sunday episodes. Have been busy with studies because of a research paper, so henceforth I will be doing a Double Take on Naagin 5,i.e. I will be giving my reviews after both the episodes air. Don't worry yaaron, bhaari bharkam take hoga, Bani ke mizaaj aur gale ke chain ki tarah. 😆 Khair, here goes my take on what happened over the weekend.

Highlights - Yayyy!👍🏼

Veer's "Anger" - Honestly, I liked the display of anger by Veer which Sharad nailed it by staying true to his character. Veer essentially is a "clown" who is not devoid of emotions and has a higher emotional range than any of the cheels of his family, till now. Infact, I feel that Veer's anger has more depth and character than Bani's ridiculous rage. Veer is angry for two reasons - Bani killed his brother and he is unable to hate Bani. It isn't possible. Veer is reborn with the soul of Aakesh. Aakesh could go to lengths and breadths to do anything for Naageshwari. So that connection does not allow him to hate or hurt Bani. And all that he has done till now, are actually pretty much within his limits because he has not done one single thing consciously to hurt Bani too much. And whatever he is doing, those who love Veer's character, find it icky, but for me, it is that the man is hurting. He loves that girl. If it isn't enough that the girl does not feel the intensity of his emotions, she also supposedly killed his brother. He is conflicted because his brother died and he loves her. He wants to hate her, and at the end of the day, he is incapable of doing so.

Shukla's Game - I must say, this bugger looks like an innocent pandit, but ye aadmi apni panditai kahin aur hi lagane me busy hai. Itni unchi planning. Bechare uss Teer ko maar diya for no reason, and that too someone who is mentally unstable. Phir Jai ke supposed maut ki planning ki taki Bani ko uske jode se alag rakh sake, so that she faces the Cheels alone. Now he has hired Mayuri to kill Bani, because uski planning me they did not count Veer's sanak. And he thinks exposing her as Adi Naagin before Veer will trigger Veer's rage and he will kill Bani? Either this man is too sharp or too stupid. Because he grossly underestimates Veer's feelings for Bani, and he also grossly underestimates Adi Naagin's power.

Bani's griha pravesh - I mean, I know ki bahut logo ko pasand nahi aaya, but boss I did not mind. I mean, I expect these things from Cheels, kyunki iske ilawa na unko kuch aata hai aur na kuch sikhaya gaya hai. So, I mean why even expect anything different. And I like it yaar. Why always look for conventional things all the time, its something unconventional, something different. it was really fun. And these devars are really cute. I know they do not know how to behave with their "Bhabhi", but Veer and Bani hai na, dono achche se sikha denge.😆I am actually looking forward to the bhabhi-devar nok-jhok.

Bani's bahugiri - Ek yahin scene tha jo itna mazedaar tha ki kya bolu. Wajah chahe jo bhi ho, Bani inn Cheelo ki duniya ko roshan karne hi aayi hai. And iski shuruat Veer se hogi, phir baaki log dheere dheere line pe aayenge - phir devar, phir chachu, phir Daddy ji😆. Bilkul Satte pe Satta wali feeling thi. Itna mazedaar tha woh, I actually watched that scene on repeat - I can foresee that ye devar aur bhabhi ki bonding aage jaake bahut jordaar hone wali hai. Aur gharwale ko bhi kaam pe laga diya. And Veer itni shanti se maan gaya. It was so adorable. Aur woh lata bhi shaayad, lekin khurafaati dimaag uska, ulta uss par pani phek diya.😆 Ek dusre ke liye hi bane hai dono.

Highlights - Nayyy!👎🏼

Bani's "Anger" - Koi aao bhaiyya aur isko zor se hilao, kyunki ab isska gussa dekh dekh ke mera BP badte jaa raha hai😡. Arre koi to roko iss khaali khopdi ko, iska gussa aur iske dialogues ab mujhe sahi me force kar rahe hai CVs ko batane ko, ki haa bhai, aao isko maar do, aur hume baksh do. Jabse ye show shuru hua hai, iske gusse ka force to badta hi ja raha hai. Lagta hai iske gusse ke wajah se hi iske naagin wale VFX aur jyaada laal ho gaye hai. Arre koi to limit rakho. Ye to hadh paar ho rahi hai ab. Shuru se hi iska bewajah ka gussa tolerate kiya humne, ab aur kitna dikhaoge. Ab to kuch kam karo iska gussa. Iska dimaag to kaam hi nahi karta yaar. Kuch bhi karti hai, kahin bhi shuru ho jaati hai. Please, creatives, ab iske gusse ka ubaal thoda kam karo.Bahut ho gaya hai, bahut seh liya humne. Ab time aa gaya hai iss khali khopdi me thoda dimaag ghusao aur sahi jagah par vaar kare, aise koi story me change lao. Iske badle ki story ka koi head and tail nahi hai, please give it a new direction. 10,000 saal ke pehle ka badla koi nahi leta. Lena hai to ab lo, ye pura Africa ka jo jungle yahaan haazir hua hai na, unse lo badla. Sahi direction me gussa use karo.

Mayuri - Ye kya cheez hai yaar. Kyun hai? Ek to Cheel ka bgm accept karne me waqt lag gaya humko. Ab ye "morni banke" kathakali ke Ravan wala gaana iss par bajayenge, to kaise tolerate karenge hum. And main ye Bani ko khali khopdi bolti hu, ye Cheel kuch kam nahi hai. Ye Daksh "bhaiyya" ke sensory alert system pe jaala pad gaya hai kya? Naag aur Naagin soong leta hai, lekin morni ka nahi kar sakta. How pathetic can this get? Aur iss morni ki kya zarurat hai? Bani ko jealous karne ke liye. Iss bandi ko koi fark nahi padta. Aur agar padta hai, to gusse me woh bhi hauwwa ban jata hai. Aur kis liye? Adi Naagin ko expose karne ke liye, usko maarne ke liye. Didiji, ye hum log jaante hai ki Bani thodi khali khopdi hai, lekin there is a reason why she is Adi Naagin. Koi panipuri waale ka thela nahi hai ki raaste se hata doge. Usko expose karne ke chakkar me khud expose ho jaogi, aur phir Cheel tumhari jo durdasha karenge, woh alag.

Observations

Ek to, koi Bani ke khopdi me dimaag ghusa de to bahut meherbani hogi. Ab kahaan hawa ho gaye, iske ethics, morals. Bada gyaan jhadti thi, "beinsaafi nahi hone deti". To ek dimaagi beemar cheel ko maarne ki koshish karti ho, ab agar woh kaam na aaye, to usko marke bhi shaanti mat do. Like really woman. Itna gussa hai tumko, ki Veer ko uksaane ke liye, apni hi banaye rulebook ki dhajjiya udao. Very good my dear. Agar main waha hoti na, to by God, kas ke ek thappad jad diya hota. Behen ka dimaag jara kaam karne lage. Behen, morni pe focus karo, cheelo ka baadme kachumbar banana.

Veer is never ever going to get provoked to a point to kill Bani. That man actually married her, even after he has all the means and motive to kill her, for killing his brother. Everyone is grossly underestimating Veer's feelings for Bani here. They are no ordinary feelings dude. He does not remember them, but they are 10,000 years old. Its this very connection, that makes him do the opposite in Bani's case. He is the real "joda" for Bani, not ideally conventional because it challenges the fabric of nature, but it is. So sorry, Morni behen, Shukla ji, and of course, Jai dada. Teero ke bahaar chala lo, lekin banda tas se mas nahi hoga. Usko pata bhi chala na ki woh Naagin hai, tab bhi woh kuch nahi karega.

This pandit daddu and sapera uncle, what did they mean to tell after Bani left, "Tumne usse bataya kyun nahi ki uska saathi manaser hai" or something like that. What did they mean by that? I mean I get it that Bani has to seek the truth for herself, but what did Sapera uncle mean to say? Did anyone hear him out clearly? Please do tell, if you did.

Coming to the thrilling devar bhabhi combo, I think the first one to warm up to Bani would be Tapish. Cause, he was the one to control his father. So, I think it could be him, followed by Ponky and Monil. Daksh "bhaiyya" will be last, cause I for one believe he is a little wary of women. But I think all four of them will be there for Bani, when she will need them the most, after Veer of course. Cause I believe, this family needs someone like her who can give them the much-needed direction and discipline, which they lack. And Bani will eventually learn that you seem to find people who love and adore you in the most unexpected places. And then last me Chacha aur Sasur aayenge. But jo Bani inse karwa rahi hai, uska intention kuch bhi ho, lekin yes, woh inki life me dher saari roshni laayegi. Please CVs, iss family ko nazar mat lagana.

Ek baat to sahi kaha tha Shukla ne, Satyug jitna seedha tha, Kalyug utna hi tedha hai. Aur Bani ko pata nahi chalega kaun dost hai aur kaun dushman. But Shukla ji, Veer ke pyaar ko aur Bani ke Adi Naagin ko underestimate mat karo, dono milkar tumhari Shuklai nikaal denge.

Enough with my ranting. Would love to read your thoughts and comments.😊

You didn't mention anything on the Jay part in the episode? What do you think? Happend with jay.. Some spell or something? Why acting bad?

And aadi naagin se bhi do haath aage shukla and mayuri hai
