Sorry for the grammatical and orthographic mistakes.
All in all it was a good episode. Before going into detail, I'll focus on Rey first.
You know in life we often say "don't do anything you might regret later and if you do, don't forget what shame is". That's exactly what Rey is doing right now.
It's one thing to say things yourself and another to hear it from someone else.
Rey has "ruined" a girl's life in all conscience. For him, telling Prani to have an abortion had settled things. He didn't question whether or not she had done something with "their" child.
Rey is impulsive, he says things without thinking for a second. He was brought up in a family that has no human value, he tried as hard as he could to adapt, he loved his mother, but she abandoned him. He came to love Prani, but he heard morning, noon and night that love doesn't bring anything, it takes relationships to consolidate their business, it brings more money, so he took this attachment for infatuation and nothing more.
Today, although I wanted to kill Vardhan, he was able to make Rey understand that he is not innocent. Every adult in this family has shaped him in a certain way so he has no lesson to teach them. Armaan's words just made him angry because for him he is bigger than Armaan so he doesn't have any thoughts to receive from him. Now Vardhan who is his big brother puts him in front of the facts, it's easier to listen and really understand.
I've seen that many people blame Rey because he didn't act more violently, but you have to remember that Vardhan is his big brother. He had to stay and listen from the beginning to the end. This will help him to understand! Today, a woman suffers from his neglect.
As much as Prani is responsible to become living with Rey in their house, even if they sleep in separate rooms, Vardhan said what everyone is thinking in a low voice! We can't be hypocritical about that!
As they say it takes two hands to do "bravo", Prani is the left hand and Rey is the right hand, it's too easy for Prani to take the blame alone for their situation.
Let's go back to the beginning of the episode.
Jagnu has protected his mother from Vardhan's bad plans, it wasn't easy as Dadi came to thwart his plans. Jagnu remains true to herself, although she takes care of Prani, she still has a little trouble letting her get too close.
Rey went to the hotel to look for the evidence, but as we suspected, he didn't find anything. He wondered if Prani lied or the evidence was suppressed. It should be remembered that the hotel manager said that Vardhan was a regular, so it was easy to understand.
Prani who needed Vardhan to be punished went to see him. I think it's weird that she could stay in the same room with him, but long after Vardhan finally showed his true face Rey arrived. So indirectly Prani knew that she was not in danger. (I'm sorry I don't adhere to strength of character in this kind of thing. Rape or assault marks, so this is my fault. I'm not saying that Prani should tremble, but she shouldn't be so close to Vardhan).
Rey, who can't stand that someone hurts Prani (although he can...) has a mortal rage against Vardhan, but it won't last very long. Vardhan had to make things clear. He showed that Khuranna blood is inhuman!
Vardhan put Rey in front of reality, Prani heard things and looked at Rey, but Rey is ashamed, he doesn't dare to look Prani straight in the eye and even less to answer Vardhan. Of course, as long as Vardhan was talking it was normal, but Vardhan crossed the line again so Rey reacted.
Today for me this episode is a turning point for Rey.
Is he sure he wants to remain the Rey he is today? That is to say, to do what his family expects him to do, but in hiding in order to limit the damage.
Is he finally ready to act like an adult, even if it means disappointing Dadi and assuming things clearly?
Because Prani and Jagnu are in his life whether he wants to or not. Either he decides to support them in front of his family or he lets them go!
