But all fun apart, these words are part of the song 'Chingari koi bhadke' from Amar Prem.

The song's meaning is really deep and the lyrist has tried different metaphors to explain the shallow world. One of the stanzas that absolutely hits me is this

Meaning if your enemy hurts you, your friend's there to console you

But if the one to hurt you is your friend itself, who will comfort you?
