Hi Guys,
First time writing as OS. Starting from the point where Riddhima is locked inside the Suit Case and drowning in the pool. Pardon my Hindi guys. Also please feel free to correct my Hindi also.
Vansh looked around and he couldn’t find her. Strange. “Puri family yahan hai, woh kahan chali gayi. Kahin room meh toh nahi.” , thought Vansh. He needed her in front of him. There were more attacks on her than him. After the chandelier incident, he felt she was in more danger than him and he was not going to give a chance for the attacker to attack his wife.
He wanted her safe and sound and so he went to look for her. While he walked towards their room, he thought about the dress she was wearing. She was looking like an angel in the green saree, smoky eyes. It really looked good on her.
“Vaise green mere favourite colour nahi but ab toh hone laga hai” Vansh thought. Being the gentlemen he was, as soon as he reached their room, he knocked on the door just to be careful that he doesn’t encounter another of those episode of walking in to the room while she was dressing. After knocking for awhile, there was no response. He opened the door and went in. The room was empty but something was amiss. The dressing table was messy. Knowing Riddhima, she liked her things to be placed properly. Something must have happened, he thought. He looked around the room in urgency. He noticed the kandhani kada that Dadi made him wear on Riddhima’s hands on the floor. He was now sure something was not right.
He screamed for Angre, his trusted man but realised he might be in the middle of the rituals. Damn, he thought. He had to look for her fast. "Riddhima, Kahan hai tum” thought Vansh while he was running to look for her. As he was running fast, past the pool, he noticed something inside the pool. Without wasting time, he jumped into the pool, swam fast to reach it. It was a suit case. He knew Riddhima has to be inside the suit case. He tried his best to open the suit case while struggling to maintain his breathe. If he couldn’t sustain his breathe inside the water for long, what would have happened to Riddhima. This single thought made Vansh use his full strength to pull the zip. He managed to unzip the suit case and lifted Riddhima out. He brought her to the side of the pool. She was unconscious but she was breathing. Even her shallow breathe was some kind of blessing to Vansh as he had feared the worst.
“Riddhima, Ankhe kholo please.”, he pleaded while shaking her. She opened her eyes slightly and that was all the assurance that Vansh needed. He hugged her tightly and whispered “Relax sweetheart. Kuch nahi hoga tumhe. Main yahi hoon.” Riddhima felt relieved that Vansh had saved her. “Vansh” she murmured before falling unconscious. Vansh did not waste any time and called for the doctor. Silently he carried her to their room and laid her on the bed. He needed to change her wet clothes or she could get worst. Seeing everyone busy in the functions, he did not have the heart to disturb them. Riddhima was his responsibility and he would do anything to ensure her wellbeing.
Vansh knew the only way to help Riddhima was to change her clothes himself. He went to the cupboard and took out her clothes. He also took out black blindfold and before covering his eyes, he pulled the blanket and covered her fully. He quickly changed her clothes and right when he was done, the doctor arrived. The doctor checked Riddhima and said “Riddhima, theek hai. Shock ki vajah se behosh hai. Let her sleep. She will gain her consciousness in the morning. Ek aur baat, bukhaar hogi so to keep the fever down, please keep a wet clothe on her forehead. Please feed her the medicines when she wakes up.” After the doctor left, Vansh went to change his clothes as he forgot about himself in his urgency to look after his unconscious wife.
When he came back to his wife, he heard her murmuring. He went near her to check on her and felt her forehead. Like the doctor mentioned, the fever was starting. He quickly went to get the wet clothe. He sat on the other side of the bed to place the wet clothe on her forehead and change it at regular intervals. While doing this, he too felt tired and dozed off beside her.
The next day morning, Riddhima was slowly coming to consciousness. As she struggled to sit up, she felt something heavy on her forehead. As she touched her forehead, she felt the wet clothe and someone’s fingers. Vansh had dozed off while keeping his hand on her forehead so that clothe will not fall off. she immediately understood who the fingers belong to. She slowly took his hand and placed it by his side and sat up. She looked at him recalling yesterday’s event. She realised that Vansh is not the person trying to harm her and wondered who is the new enemy who was targeting her. She also thought about her own feelings seeing him sharing the bed with her. She did not feel disgusted that he slept beside her and that made her nervous.
“Main kabir se pyaar karti hu par mujhe Vansh kyu ache lagane laga? Bina soche mujhse uspar vishwas hone laga he. Kya meh Vansh ke bare mein galat soch rahi hun? Kya woh sach mein Ragini ki murder ki thi? Kahi kisine Vansh pe ilzam toh nahi lagayi.” While she was thinking Vansh stirred in his sleep. Not wanting to disturb him, she went to freshen up. While she was freshening up in the bathroom, Vansh woke up and found the other side of the bed empty. He immediately started looking around for Riddhima and found her coming out of the bathroom. He went to her and asked, “Riddhima, bistar se kyon uthe? Are you alright?”. While asking, he placed his hand on her forehead and felt for her temperature.
“Bukhaar nahi hai ab. Just in case, tum bukhaar ki medicines lelo aur aaram karo. Someone else will take over the responsibility for the functions.”, said Vansh. As he turned to go and freshen up, Riddhima held his hand stopping him. “Thank you Vansh mujhe bachne keliye” He looked at her and smiled slightly. She looked genuinely thankful. This is probably the first time she was not arguing or suspecting him. “Interesting… Very interesting” he thought to himself and went to freshen up.
