I really thought this show would have a long run. if not as long as flagship show then at least as long as YHM

You never know what happens in the ITV world. Its all about business, revenues and gamble at the end.

Sandip Sickand had signed a contract for khkt for 3 years, at the end it went off air unceremoniously in 9 months, less than 200 episodes.

ITV should actually take the finite route, season format like west. For example, friends, one of the longest running sitcoms of 10 seasons actually only has 230 ish episodes.

Sandip Sickand had a fall out with SP; he wanted to show something else and they wanted him to turn the track the TRP way. He has gone on record to say this. So he chose to end the show rather than compromsie with his vision.

Oh well...I have Dev, I have what I have of Abir and I have MB albeit it is a twisted version of MB. I'll be fine until his next show comes along.

Thats true to some extent, not all. SS wanted the show to follow his vision, he had some beautiful tracks written for Ronakshi, however SP wanted him to show dramatic stuff which he did at the end and separated Ronakshi. Even then, SP said the reason for off air was less trp, but khkt had decent trp, 1.8-2, ended on 1.8. Also, Rajan Shahi wanted 9 pm for Anupama (pre-covid), so internal politics, Sandip giving up & not fighting for it etc all was reason behind khkt's demise.

Well what is done is done...we cannot reverse it.

I am sad; my heart is heavy; I will miss SS..i sound like a broken record. I feel like a crazy fangirl, the one thing i never wanted to be.

I cannot believe SS turned me into the one thing i never wanted to be, the kind of crazy fangirl who cries when his show ends.

BAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHH. WHY?

I feel bad that they had this great potential in this show and wasted on shoddy writing and general lazy creativity. It was a spinoff and they had this rich material to fall back on from the parent show. The shows rise and fall reminds me of IPK it got popular so fast and then it fizzled out right after and after the initial love confession, remarriage and exposure of main villain they had no original story to tell.

Now im just gonna watch yhc on and off till ekta makes it bad lol and edkv2 which i know at least has a finish in sight and its a planned show.
