I had written a long post but it got deleted by mistake.
Glad that the show made a comeback post lockdown and we got to see some great performances (particularly of Shaheer and Rhea, I actually appreciated MishBir a lot more in the post lockdown episodes) Since the makers themselves are running short of ideas (otherwise they wouldn't introduce a track related to pregnancy merely 15 months into the show) and there's nothing much one can do about trps, I don't find myself as disappointed by the decision as otherwise I would have been.
Never thought I would watch this show as ardently as I watched KRKAB but YRHPK turned out to have its own unique charm and I was instantly hooked to the show after watching just a couple of episodes. The show made me appreciate flawed characters and the director/actors did a stupendous job in making the emotions of the characters feel so real :') Shaheer, Rhea, Kaveri, Ritvik truly delivered some of their best performances.
Shaheer is so charming, has an amazing screenpresence and makes romantic scenes look so easy. Kaveri's comic timing is aplomb and she did complete justice to a layered character. Rhea portrayed Mishti's insecurities & vulnerabilities so well.
Needless to say I will miss seeing all of them working together. Even before MishBir what I had found appealing about the show was Mishti and Kuhu's relationship. Rhea and Kaveri's chemistry as sisters was one of the best that I had seen (if only Mishti and Kuhu's relationship in the show was explored in a better manner)
Kuhu and Kunal had a very intense storyline of their own and it's truly brilliant how they made a mark.
Last but not the least, whatever be my complaints related to their respective characters, but Mishti and Abir were beautiful together and post lockdown gave their relationship a chance to evolve beyond romance. It was great seeing their growing emotional connect as life partners.
Rupal ji and Chaitrali ji have been absolutely top notch as well. The most underrated of all of them had been Kaushal.
I learnt to appreciate different perspectives watching this show and would always fondly remember it. And well if Mr..Shahi ever plans a sequel to this show with a different cast, I just know that am not gonna watch 🙃
