Ishq Mein Marjawan 2 is supposed to be a romantic thriller. Full of surprises, twists and turns. Everyone in the cast and crew said...Bohut kuch hone wala hain...aap log soch bhi nahi sakte...

So I thought, why not make a list of all the twists that have been revealed in the show so far hum soch bhi nahi paye? How about making a list of plot twists which we really couldnt predict so far...Let's see...

1. Kabir is the villain.

Could we predict? Check.

2. Anupriya is stepmom.

Prediction? Check.

3. The statue is of Vansh's ex and the painting of his real mom.

Double Check.

4. Anupriya is the black suit person who burnt the painting.

Check.

5. Sunny is Vansh's guy...and he is alive.

Check.

6. Diary of Ragini was arranged by Vansh.

Check.

7. YG is Anupriya.

Check.

8. Anupriya is Kabir's mom.

Yeh bhi...Check.

9. Kabir wants Vansh's property.

Check. Check and ek aur Check.

So, how many twists did the makers introduce that we could not count? Lemme count...lemme count...Oh yeah, got it. Zero. Yeah, that's right...

The number of truly unpredictable twists is ZERO.

Yes, we did have some extra theories like Siya/Ragini being YG. But we did also discuss about Anupriya. The height was a giveaway. Arre...we toh even predicted minor scenes like Vansh draping sari around Riddhima. 😆

Now. Time for some honesty.

If I put aside my fandom for a moment, and judge this show objectively...then Ishq Mein Marjawan 2 is a JOKE of a thriller. An absolute piece of joke. This show has offered us nothing that we havent seen in Ekta Kapoor's shows before...

Same old...evil stepmom...evil half-brother...property related feud. Hero turning into villain and villain turning into hero.

The ONLY saving grace of this show are the basic premise with which it began and Riansh. Riansh are the only reason I am watching the show. Had it been some other less enticing pair, I would have quit long back.

Mistake me not guys. This is NOT a bashing thread...but more like constructive feedback from a loyal viewer. I hope CVs realize they are not doing a great job.

I am fine with cliched tropes like shower scene and fake pregnancy in the romantic aspect of the show. In fact I crave for those.

But where the thriller part is concerned, there is nothing new here. I hope somebody tells the writers this, so that they know what we feel.

I also watch only for RiAnsh I Wish as they showed Vansh Vansh Ko Vaida hi rakhe sharp cleaver ruthless possessive

IMMJ2 story is nothing but Old wine in New Bottle.

I dint expected a cliched stale & pale ITV story re-run.

I was hoping all three Main leads are protagonist & they are right in their very own way, the enmity between them was due to misconception & they're been framed by politicians or some other mastermind who want to take revenge from Raisinghania's for the humiliation or to acquire wealth.

Now I am watching it only for RiAnsh, but I dont think Riddhima is going to fall for Vansh. Her trust for Kabir & Distrust for Vansh is still intact.

Due to this lovey dovey feeling Vansh is turning soft & Kind. I am truly missing Original version of Vansh.

I feel these maha khulasas n all are gonna only for riddhu(raisinghania in some cases) coz we audience know everything. What's suspense? Why they are promoting so much when we already had predicted everything?

I hope they could have shown something unexpected 🤦

I personally love romantic Vansh. Problem is...he needs to be shrewd about other things. Just bcoz he has fallen in love, doesnt mean he will become dumb about everything else.

Let's hope CVs have something in store for us.

and D'Souza's death was totally unpredictable..

but we never know she may return...

rest what they show doesn't matter as long as it gets trps...trp viewers do like cliche more than hatke...just hope they keep viewers hooked to riansh n not spoil it...

she is not dead for real (like sunny)…. Vansh planned with Dsouza and Anupriya to catch YG/shooter (may be ragini or other enemy - can introduce new one) - working for Kabir.

BUT NO - they killed the suspense and story … perfectly and VRS character.. ………..went step mom way - like every other shows...……….

Thank God CV’s created Riansh and it clicked big time ,also Vansh’s character I hope they don’t destroy either of these .

Now the only saving grace for them is using these strong points and add some thriller quotient .

I mentioned in AT top that when Amrita Singh was revealed to be the villian in kavyanjali that was the high point here everybody was expecting it to be AP .

Execution killed it big time 🤪
