As I pointed out, Pranati looks at Rey to tell her what she doesn't dare to say out loud and Rey is tuned in to the same waves as her, so he understands perfectly.
You're perfectly right, Jey3ram, Rey is subtle, but Dadi notices things quickly. Today he indirectly remembered Pranati. Because he wants the truth and since the truth is on Pranati's side, he has prevented Dadi from throwing Pranati out.
There were several signs, the sindoor when they were taking Ganesh's blessings, the scene was focused, but forgotten.
Each time we can hear Pranati being described as a "daughter-in-law".
Pranati's status is just not defined!
Rey had accused her of living with him, but she goes out to see another man.
It's just an endless ping pong match.
This! I'll add on another reply with the signs.
Like you said, Prani's status is a totally mess as far as the Khurannas are concerned. From Pranati's end it is very clear that she has no relationship with them whatsoever and she's there as Jugs' mother. Reyansh was also very clear about the co-parents sharing custody stand until he himself playfully invented that Prabhi thing. I believe somewhere that playful title left him wanting more after the entire engagement track, he might openly deny it but it is very obvious he isn't very clear. If we look at it closely, the engagement is pretty much the beginning of a lot of things, I'll again put out another reply for that, but if you think about it, it was so subtle that most of us din't take most connections seriously. And as far as the Khurannas are concerned, the status of Prani is dependent of what they need from her in each situation. If it's favourable for them, she's the DIL, she's Rey's to be wife, Prabhi and what not and when it's not favourable for them, it is Praniti the freeloader.
