I think there's a piece of the puzzle missing in the fact that he rejected Pranati in this way.

I'm sure he must have remembered a lot of things in order to abandon him as he is doing now.

That's why I feel college flashbacks are necessary

In many flashback scenes you see Rey solely focused on sleeping together, he din't even try and hide his motive, he was open that he wasn't into marriage and responsibilities. Despite all that Praniti did fall for him & I believe she was naive enough to believe that he'd stick with her or change (I'm assuming Prani's perspective, it wasn't shown). Rey is shown to have developed feelings back then for her (in the 3rd or 4th episode), but there has been no background or clarity to it.

There's also a scene under the wishing tree of the whole lock tying thing where Prani asks Rey to tell her openly if he lives her and also tell her if he doesn't when he asks for a kiss or something (I don't remember the exact sequence of events). But he does tell 'I love you' and then they're shown getting intimate. God only knows if he meant it or just told that to get into her pants.

There is a lot in the past Prayansh story that actually needs more clarity, hope we get that in the future.

A lot of girls act this way, thinking that if the boy really loves her, he'll stop all his bullshit for this ranger.

It's a double-edged sword.

Sometimes it happens like that and sometimes, as with Pranati, reality catches up with them quickly.

Not sure if they will show the exact scene so this was exclusively shot for promo.

I feel this is this whole week promo.
