A woman's jewellery that she gets from parents, called the 'street dhan', has been a topic of debate since forever, and no matter how much we have grown as a society, it is still a topic of discussion in the majority of the households. And now that Anupamaa has exchanged it to buy the ring, how is her family going to react to it. It will obviously raise a lot of eyebrows not just in her family, but also amongst the audience too.

Its anupama jewelry she have right to sell it or give it to any one she want but iam sure this shah family going to create big drama because of this 😒 where anu intention is soo pure she want to see his son happy but iam sure for the son she took this step that same son going to blame anu in the end

It is Stri Dhan literally meaning woman’s wealth given to her at the time of wedding or even during marriage. So technically what her mother in law gave Anupama is Anupama’s as well. It is different from dowry as dowry was given to the groom’s family but Stridhan was given to the bride to be of use to her in times of need.
