I have seen numerous posts on Veer- his attitude, arrogance, the way he manhandled Bani basically his character and I also saw how he has been compared to previous seasons ML's. I don't think it is fair to compare any other ML to Veer because all of them- Ritik, Mahir, Dev (can't say about Rocky as I did not watch season 2) were humans whereas Veer is a cheel. He has the ability to take human form but that does not men that he has a human heart or soul or even human morals. You can clearly see that the whole cheel clan behaves in a very different way than normal humans. Bani herself said that he is not human. Veer and the cheel clan lives by their rules that is the cheel rules and not the human rules, they just know how to manipulate the human's and get their way. Veer has animalistic behaviour because he is an animal. You can tame an animal but you don't change its basic instinct. There is a saying that "leopard doesn't change its spots"

Even Shivanya, Bela, Bani are animals they are snakes who can take human form ( Shivangi and Brinda were half humans). So their revenge, hatred, everything is animalistic.

Bani had an unexplainable hatred for Veer since the beginning , she didn't know the reason but the animal inside her made her hate Veer just because he is a Cheel.

According to me if we keep seeing the character in human morals we are going to hate and dislike everyone. Human's redeem themselves I don't think aminals do. If we keep searching for redeemable qualities for characters then we might be gearing ourselves for disappointment.

Personally I want them to remain the animals they are and not humans. If I wanted to watch human revenge story I would just watch something else.

Despite being a cheel, Veer has emotions...he loves bani and when noor died he got tears in his eyes and in next episode too we'll get to see veer's anger and emotions for his brother...

Whereas uf we see his cheel clan,i don't see any emotion...

Veer seems to be Adha Cheel like how Bani is Adhi Naagin with him having various emotions along with animal traits 😆

On a side note: I don’t really have any disappointments, though not everything will be perfect. It’s so much fun to discuss flaws & perfection side by side. End of the day what matter is to enjoy the season with the hottest jodi ever! #VaNi 😉

Exaclty Veer is cheel not human. He I not perfect. He has flaws and these flaws made his character interesting. In all other seasons of Naagin the male leads were too good but here for first the plot is changed and I m actually liking it .

Veer is not a human. Fair enough ! But makers are human right, they should have carefully executed this sangeet sequence IMO. Honest opinion. 😔

Veer was never human. He was cheel. Akesh killed whole of nageshwari clan, but it can't be put under human moral. That it's murder. Cheel and naagin clan are portrayed as enemies. It's revenge saga so their is gonna be killing and murders.

But veer has thinking ability. He has emotions. He was always grey, but never crossed limit.

Why did he say to his brother that he will kill his brothers too if they are responsible for Noor's death? Noor was the girl who had cheated on his friend and he even cried for her. Even his brothers were shocked. How can he cry when he is cheel?

Why is everyone aware of prostitu** bussiness of the cheel clan except Veer? No one told him?

Because he has thinking ability of what's right and what's wrong. His family also knows this. He always had. He never crossed limit. These all speaks a volume about him having a human side unlike other cheels.

But what happened in last episode was wrong. He did cross the limit there.

Sharad is killing as Cheel Veer. And sharad and Surbhi chamistry is driving force of the show. Hope ekta don't destroy the story by making Veer cross limits as there is hatred track coming up. But have lost interest in show so not gonna watch it. Gonna watch something else. The story is also becoming like a golmaal. And they shouldn't have made Veer cross the limit. He is cheel but what connected me personally to the charcater because he was different from other cheels. He has some thinking ability and the brains to distinguish between what's right and what's wrong.

Veer's basic behaviour was always different from other cheels. He was different. He isn't tamed and can't be that's why his dad didn't tell him about the whole lot of wrong bussiness which they do under Veer's nose.

Veer 's dad slap him and he didn't slap him back, he was angry but didn't cross slap him back. That shows how much emotional deapth and little humane side this character had, inspite of being cheel.

So as a lead, his gropping the female lead shouldn't be glorified as romantic. Thats just a personal view. He was never a totally morally correct being a cheel. He was grey. But he never crossed limits, wasn't a typical human but was niether a typical cheel and has emotional side.

I agree with your points dear. See, as an audience, I am really happy that this season is different and for once the hero is as grey as the heroine. I am not interested in any moral balance, in a supernatural fictional show, I just watch the show for entertainment.

Secondly, I had mentioned in a post previously, that these people are shapeshifters who live by the law of the jungle, not by human scruples and morals. If we apply that on Naagins and Cheels, then Naagins will never take revenge and Cheels will feel remorse. Whenever I watch the season, I just imagine watching a TVD or The Originals.

Coming to what Veer did on the Sangeet, I would say that it is not necessary to rub it in that they are aggro males and devoid of compassion. Their instincts are animalistic, but they have a human brain living as humans. Balwant Singhania is a cheel too, but he doesn't go around making a fool of himself. Veer is sanki, fine, but move on dude. We get the point. That guy is supposed to have shades, and let's see other shades to him. I am okay with flirting and all, but don't overdo the chichorapan. It's unnecessary because we get it. I don't want to see it again and again.

And this again I am not saying from a moral POV, I am saying from a story perspective. Nimbu nichod nichod kar kadwa kar dete hai ye log. Just like Bani's vitriolic hate gets on my nerves sometimes and so does her baseless silly revenge, so does this behavior. Establish ho chuka hai, hum log itne slow nahi hai ki samajh nahi sakte, ab kahaani ki gaadi ko aage badao.

I don't know about previous seasons ke heroes. I only followed Season 1, and I like Ritik. But Mahir, Rocky and Dev, were just IMO rehashed versions of the clueless human male lead. I am not interested in watching Ritik again and again. So I am very much okay with Veer being different. But its high time they cut the crap of Cheel's indiscretions and how oh-so-villainous they are and Naagins oh-so-vengeful I am. Let's get going with the story.

He is not gropping dear , he was hugging her tightly. Gropping much more vulgar than hugging. Believe me I have seen gropping. As a women I can't go beyond this. But what veer did is not gropping. He was hugging her without her permission and infront of all. His character is designed like that.he is possessive lover and top of that his way of brought up was not good. Didn't you hear what dad cheel said "go and do Suhag raat with who ever you want" of papa is like that then why so u expect it from son. But even then he has soft side that will come out totally after his marriage to bani. So please keep cheeling everything will be good after marriage.
