To me it looks like, Malhar is terribly hurt by Anu's actions and words towards him because he still considers her as a mother to him.
It hurts him to see that none whom he thinks as his own seem to believe that he could be innocent.
They are not giving him the benefit of doubt, Anu, Swara and Kallu.
Kallu might not know anything of five years but don't these two women know what has happened to him.. Ye Anu aur Swara Itni Andhi kyun hai.
Ek insaan ko baar baar bolte raho that you did it, he's bound to accept it at one point out of frustration.
I'm doubtful if Anu was involved in the shoot.
To me it looks like it was AS who was involved in it directly or indirectly. Probably the person who acted on behalf of AS has already gone underground or killed / shot at that time itself. Or if she used Trilok, he might have been killed / jailed.
Whenever AS taunts Malhar, the look he gives her also has an inner meaning I feel. They both know something and he's just keeping quiet not exposing her yet.
This is just my opinion, I may be wrong too.
