maybe he just talked about 'chief coming to rescue' just to convince prachi...

even if he wants marriage to happen in real as he said to maya, prachi must be thinking differently... that's what i didn't like...

i would have loved it if he would have persuaded her saying he loves her...n not all other reasons...now I don't want this marriage to happen

I did not expect a build up scene to the flashback. Maybe because most here are in the opinion that Prachi is being forced to marry by Ranbir. But I never thought that. Prachi is very much eager to marry Ranbir but not this way. But yes the problem is more focus is given on the filler scenes than the main characters. That is the disappointment. Anyway this track is only for Maya's exit. I really don't think pranbir will get married. But if its not for Maya's exit, then they shouldn't drag the episodes so much.
