It's not about normalizing drugs, it's about the hypocritical laws of the land and the incompetence of the authorities. Do you really think a a central agency needs someone like Rhea Chakraborty to break drug cartels and nab drug kingpins in the industry in 2020?? Where were they all these years? Why couldn't they nab the kingpins before drug use became so big in the country? Obviously because of corruption. Why do you think recreational drugs are still being sold easily in cities around without hardly any arrests and drug kingpins are having it easy all these years?

People are rejoicing over Bollywood celebs being involved in drugs as if it's such a big loss to the celebs- they have all the money in the world to get bail and get admitted to rehab centres abroad when they get addicted. What about common people? Why isn't this kind of stringent measures taken for those supplying these hard drugs to common young people in cities? Why aren't there more rehab centres in India for the addicts? Destitutes surviving on the fringes of the society, as young as four or five are victim to substance abuse and glue sniffing. Do the authorities care about them? Obviously not coz they are at the end of the day dirty ragpickers and orphans left in stations so who cares. Same for the common public who are so concerned about rich celebs doing drugs and how illegal it is but will turn a video of a kid high on drugs into a meme online and laugh their asses off going Kamleshhhh!

Also, the way drug usage and abuse us normalised here is very amusing.

Hindu religion itself has history of consumption of weed/ganja, aka bhang during holi or Shivratri but apparently that’s ok because oh well religion lmao 😆

P.S. I don’t believe that Rhea is a innocent or a culprit yet... I am not invested in this case as others. She might or might not be innocent but it’s bizarre to see what this case has come down to.

This case has gone out of hands, from murder angle to weed consumption Like ok 🤪. They need to instead focus more on abedment to suicide.
