The Bride-Groom & the Rituals
The bugle of the marriage is blown with the Haldi( turmeric) ceremony, where the bride and the groom are adorned with the turmeric paste. It is said that this procress brings a special glow on the faces of both of them. The second day starts with the Mehendi function where the hands and feet of the bride gets decorated with the colourful hue of mehendi. Finally comes the most crucial day-the day of marriage where the bride gets adorned with ethnic gold ornaments. She wears the 'mundri' commonly called as tiara hanging on her forehead. The bridal wear that she puts is not only colourful but also extremely well designed with beads, zaris and crystals. However most of the brides prefer bright reds, pinks, crimson and fuchsia.

The grooms with their marital built look stunning in silk sherwanis and brightly coloured turbans. By the regular Rajasthan custom the grooms are supposed to carry a family sword on their waistbands. The marriage is then followed by the sath phereswhereby both makes a promise to be together for seven births

Entertainment
The Rajasthani wedding brings with itself lots of scope for the entertainment of the guests as well as the one's getting married. The traditional mashaals are lit under which the folk dancers perform Bhavai, which is the major folk form of Rajasthan. There are entertainers like: fire eaters, snake charmers and horses and elephants.
