Rhea's bail rejected as she might 'influence ' ppl

A special court in Mumbai today has rejected bail to Rhea Chakraborty and others in the drug case. The magistrate court had earlier rejected her bail plea and granted the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB), 14-days of judicial custody. Her bail was reportedly rejected on the rounds that she might influence others.

Narcotics Control Bureau argued that if released on bail, the actor "may tamper with the evidence and also try to win over witnesses using her position in the society and money power".

Rhea Chakraborty had conscious knowledge of drugs use by her boyfriend Sushant Singh Rajput, said the agency, and had "made herself part of this offence by procuring drugs" for him

The anti-drugs agency said the drugs financed (by Rhea Chakraborty) were not meant for personal consumption but for supplying them to another person(SSR). "Therefore, Section 27A of NDPS (Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act) is applicable and she cannot escape the clutches of law," it argued.

Rhea Chakraborty will stay in Byculla jail, where she was taken after a magistrate sent her to judicial custody till September 22. Her lawyer will now approach the Bombay High Court for bail.

So NCB confirms that she bought the drug for Sushant and not for her personal consumption in court! So is this the reason why SSR family lawyer Vikas Singh doesn't want to comment on this case?

I am confused now... 😕So she is not arrested for consuming or possession of drugs but arrested cause she procured and financed it for her boyfriend (SSR)? Anyways, both is illegal but can anyone clarify.

Why should he comment , did he put charges of drug on rhea.. go check fir & NCB statement that thus case is not related to SSR .

Rhea 2 personally drugs consume kar rahi hai SSR aur uski gang ke saath. To sirf SSR ke liye nhi tha. Zee tv showed pardafash of Rhea's lie.

She is arrested for procuring and financing for SSR..definitely not for possession as no drugs were found with her...and she denies consumption, but I dont quite believe her on that😆

Rhea ja poora khandan sirf SSR ko blame kar sakta proof nhi kar sakta ki SSR drugs mangva raha tha. As drug chats main kahu bhi SSR ka msg nhi hai. Team SSR ki admin rhea hai ssr nhi .

Court emotions pe nhi jalta proof pe chalta .

Rhea ka jhoot samane aa gaya ki she herself consume drugs , drugs was never only for SSR.

She said take my blood test as I never consumed drugs.

Kya pata NCB ne ye video leak karvaya ho .
