If it is not illegal, how they can start demolishing?

I dislike Kangana to the core man, but this is so wrong. BMC are really mad dude.

And What was BMC doing when the construction took place? Now they remember that it is illegal when the lady in question is against the Govt.

If, it is illegal then the construction should be demolished but she should be given sufficient amount of time to respond to the notice.

No matter how much I detest Kangana but she has a right to defend herself. Govt is playing into her hands by all these pressure tactics. She knows how to play victim card very well.

BMC claims structural changes are illegal. 24 hours notice filed by demolition though - come on.

EDIT: She actually had two years notice and never replied in court b/c BJP was then in power. Tsk tsk.

Vinayak Vispute, assistant municipal commissioner, BMC, H-West Ward under whose jurisdiction Bandra falls, said: “We will carry out the demolition work on Wednesday over the structural violations carried out at Ranaut’s office at Pali Hill. Further action will be taken after the demolition process.”

As per the civic rules, any structure has to be built in line with the plan submitted to the local authorities. Any illegal changes in the plan or alterations in the structure attract legal action.

On Tuesday, BMC had issued a notice to Ranaut over several structural violations carried out in her office while asking her to respond within 24 hours and take corrective measures, failing which “the illegal portions” would be demolished.

The notice sent to Kangana Ranaut states:

1) Toilet illegaly converted into office cabin on ground floor.

2) Unauthorised kitchen constructed in store room on ground floor.

3) New toilets illegally constructed beside staircase inside store and another in parking area on ground floor.

4) Unauthorised pantry constructed on ground floor.

5) Unauthorised room/cabin with wooden partition made in living room on first floor.

6) Unauthorised meeting room/cabin with wooden partition made in pooja room on first floor.

7) Unauthorised construction of toilets in open chowk area with brick masonry walls and slab on first floor.

8) Unauthorised horizontal extension of slab at front side on second floor.

9 Bedroom of adjoining bungalow no. 4 is merged into bungalow no. 5 by removing partition wall on second floor.

10) Toilet of adjoining bedroom (i.e bungalow no. 4) is found removed and same area is used as habitable area on second floor.

11) Position of main entrance gate is found changed.

Right now Kangu is the BJP govt.'s jaan holding poppat. Sever one limb of it after another, BJP gets the injury.

This is stupid of BMC, do we have just a bunch of emotional Law and enforcement agencies?? I don’t like Kangana’s antics but this is like some child’s playground war. Give her a notice and wait, what is this?
