How come public declaration that someone used to do drugs after he has already died equals to giving peace to his soul or getting justice for his death? In my dictionary, public declaration of a dead person as a drug addict, even if it is true, is defamation of the departed soul. How can a person who used to get so much affected by fake PR planted blind items get peace and justice from the fact that his fans and family ran a massive campaign to ultimately uncover that he used to do drugs and was pallies with drug peddlers!

I just don’t understand.

I understand the TRP hunger of the media on either side for running the story non stop, while neglecting other crucial issues such as potential war with China, crippling economy, covid19 pandemic, corporate sanctions for and against certain firms, etc. But I fail to understand what fans, friends, and family who genuinely loved the departed soul have gained from this circus?

I was personally destabilised for almost 2 weeks after hearing the news of his death and was no fan of his. If he was murdered, I want the culprits to be punished. But I also want that his soul doesn’t get defamed and gets the well deserved peace he probably never got when he was alive. I also want that the ills of Bollywood nepotism isn’t conveniently forgotten in this circus, and no other young lad/lady from regular family background loses their life just because some people think that their Bollywood dreams were two big for their own good.

But the "ills of Bollywood" have very little to do with this

how can we be so sure? because right now media is now feeding us the ODed to death theory? what if that theory is wrong or what if the reason behind the addiction to drugs arose out of the frustration and disdain Bollywood biggies dished out?

There are several thousands disillusioned young lad/ladies from regular lower class/lower middle class/middle class backgrounds who fall prey to the ills of Bollywood every year. This needs to stop!

Isn’t that what Rhea, Showik, Samuel, and Dipesh have confessed to the NCB that “they used to procure the drugs from drug dealers for consumption by SSR”.

Right, so people who got drugs for Sushant should take the blame and not reveal that it was Sushant himself who was consuming them? Andthen they should be the ones going to jail?

Let's stop glorifying the dead. If Sushant did something illegal, then he did something illegal. Just because he is dead doesn't mean truth shouldn't be spoken.

According to the chats she purchased drugs in 2017 also, and Showik puchased drugs for his father too. The chat is much valid evidence than people saying they did it for Sushant. And Sushant is not alive to defend himself. So it's better not to jump to conclusions about him

It's in the charge sheet by the NCB itself that Sushant was buying and consuming drugs.

Here's the charge sheet. Read it yourself. Samuel Miranda and Dipesh Sawant both said Sushant used to direct them to buy drugs for him and Sushant would also take care of the financial matters related to the drugs. Sometimes Rhea did the same.
