This really gets to me. If in uk or USA a kinner (intersex) is born, a sex you wish ur child to grow up in can be chosen. As heer has more female traits she can be operated on and live a life of a women. Yes she can’t have kids and won’t be totally fulfilled but if men can through hormone therapy and operations become full women then why can’t heer! Please India move with time and educate the audiences that times have changed! Medicine and science can do wonders!! It would be fantastic if they can show this on heer and give hope to the intersex living a miserable life.

Yes....reproductive and sexual organs are affected in a range of ways in congenital intersex individuals...some have normal external organs but internal organs may be affected....e,g. Lack of uterus or ovaries...and sometimes external organs are affected..in heers case as the doctor identified her as a kinnar at birth ..her external sexual organs Are obviously affected....But surgery sometimes is done to correct this ..so the person can have a fairly normal sexual life ....So yes..I hope they can show heer get some medical intervention ..

I’m thinking what do you mean by external organs....if it has to do with male/female parts then Heer would have known she’s not normal. Anyway, I feel it’s time Heer is told she’s a Kinnar. For instance, I thought the secret would have been out at Sohum’s party - but nope. So what the heck was it for? The actors, channel promoted it so much and it turned out to be a damp squib! One hour of silly torture. 🙄

They already told this in previous storyline with Haya. In past Saumya decided to become women for Harman but Harman stopped her saying I love you how you are.

No need to change your identity .

Main motive of the show to show accept people how they are for loving them there is no need to change them.

Rashmi mam already said in interview in past our main focus is to gave respect to kinnars not changing there identity.

That's why it's Shakti Astitv ke ehsas ki

from the exAmples I read about, the external genitalia can look like a femaleS genitalia but very close inspection shows differences. Also Sometimes there’s a deformed vagina...where it’s short so sexual intercourse is not possible unless surgery is done to lengthen the vagina. And intersex babies are very common..they say there’s 5 intersex babies born in every 1000 births or 1.7 percent of the population is intersex,. and with India having such a big population...there will be Obviously be more intersex babies born There than in other countries with smaller populations .. I also read that one of the causes of babies being born intersex ...was the mother being exposed to harmful chemicals during the period of her pregnancy when the babies sexual organs were being developed.

I also didn’t know much until Shakti started with soumya. And I thought what nonsense is this ..how can this beautiful normal looking woman ...not be a real Woman...and then I read up on intersex and saw images and was so surprised, that Most of these intersex people look like regular normal women ,.many of them with lovely long hair and very attractive ..with all the external female characteristics. And they feel like women emotionally as well.

I was reading about intersex individuals and I feel like Heer is basically this type:

"Woman A: Being intersex means being born with some characteristics that don't neatly fit into the "normal" spectrum of human sexual development (were there such a thing). Myself, I look completely female, but happen to have XY chromosomes. I don't have an official diagnosis, and often with intersex condition, that's the case. The best I could get is gonadal dysgenesis, which is a fancy way of saying that my gonads (would-be ovaries or testes in the womb) never developed into anything. I started with an XY chromosome set, but because those gonads didn't develop and produced no hormones, my body kept the Y chromosome but just didn't develop male parts. So my body stuck along the default path of looking fully female on the outside, but having no functional female reproductive parts on the inside."

It's from this article: https://www.cosmopolitan.com/sex-love/news/a32957/sex-talk-realness-being-intersex/

It's quite an informative read.

Maybe that’s the reason why she’s unaware she’s a Kinnar. She’s a beautiful girl, have female organs that cannot reproduce. It’s like a barren woman (hate that term) or a Daljeet. 😎

Thanks for sharing 🙏

Yeah that would make sense as to why Heer is unaware that she's a kinner because her external genitalia looks like that of a woman's. Otherwise if she had male genitalia too in this day and age who doesn't know what that looks like and what's considered "normal"? Plus she's supposed to be educated so it wouldn't make sense if she didn't know how things look like down there for most people. She just has an XY chromosome instead of XX which is why sadly her ovary and uterus didn't fully form.

I'm surprised that they found out Heer is a kinner from birth lmao when in reality most people find out when their period doesn't come or puberty is delayed. Wow they really want us to believe they're so medically advanced, when they still have regressive tracks like Heer's family preventing her from marrying the guy she loves and leading a normal life 😆
