Naagin 5 - Take 8

Okay, fellas, jaanti hu that I am late, but people had so much to say already. So I thought thoda late aaun and then give my take on the episode for last night. By god, the episode was a massive disappointment only from one end - Mohit aka Hriday aka Jay. I mean I had no complaints with Surbhi, as much as I have complaints with Mohit. Sharad as always like the sanki chiraiya is a treat to watch - especially his "anulom vilom"🤣. Uff ye banda kya cheez hai! Anyway, let me get on with my take.

Highlights - Yayyy!!!👍🏼

Surbhi's expressions - Okay, so I was very happy with Surbhi today. All her expressions were on point. Her anger against Veer is always on point. Her expressions when she was looking for the temple, to when she entered the temple, to her dance, to her devotion, all were on point. Her expressions of awe, realization, devotion, happiness, love, pain everything was on point. Today, I saw the Surbhi I am used to watching. I did not have any complaints with her today.

Veer's antics - Even though his attempts are very childish and silly, but the swag with which he pulls it off is rather humourous.😆 I mean he wants to marry Meera because he thinks Bani is jealous. Tubelight hai tu bhaisaab. Tujhko uske gusse me jalan dikhti hai. Lekin aisa nahi hai beedu. Asli point ye hai, that you are jealous of Jai and Bani together, you cannot handle them together. Your confidence and ego does not allow you to accept that you are affected by a woman, and it's not the other way round. And if Bani stops this marriage and marries you, Meera ka kya hoga? ghanta. Main abhi bhi bol rahi hu, plan badal de apni, aur Tapish ko leke aa teri jagah, warna bura phasega tu.

Cheelon ka Kaalyantra - Or whatever they call it man, did not hear it clearly. I liked the fact that these cheels have devices and all yaar. Like they are all equipped with all the necessary items needed to understand what is going to happen in the near future. So, Veer is 27 years old and he still had time to come to know about his past as Aakesh. And that can happen only if he touches the walls of the temple in broad daylight. Okay, he did touch the walls but did he remember everything. Technically, when all 3 of them were there at the temple, all three of them should remember. So, let's see what happens.

Tandav - Koi mujhe please samjhao, ki kya ye log tandav ka meaning bhi samajhte hai. Why the heck do they show tandav on Nag and Naagin? Arre show simple Nag and Naagin moves on them na. Nag aur Naagin lehraate hai, tandav kab se karne lage yaar. Simple Naag aur Naagin ka dance dikhate, I wouldn't have had a problem. Shivji phir bhi prasann hi ho jate. Lekin nahi, tandav bolke, fusion dances ka namuna dikhate hai. Why? dude Why? Humne kya gunaah kiya hai jo ye tolerate karna padta hai😭. Chalo fusion dance dikhaya, Surbhi ka phir bhi chala lungi, lekin Mohit bhai tu kar kya raha tha mere bhai. Aisa lag raha tha ki ghoda bidak gaya ho aur bas taabad tod dance shuru kar diya - aur woh tandav tha ya robotile dance tha, kya tha re...kyun humne ye dekha re, kyun dekha. Tandav and Lasya are such dances that are high on energy and grace, but this was a complete bidka ghoda dance. I am sorry tandav dekh ke itni disappoint me kabhi nahi hui. Please maaf kardo hum viewers ko, aur naagin dance pe hi stick karo next time se.

Mohit's expressions - Dude problem kya hai? Ek hi expression kyun har scene ke liye. It's like he has this perpetual confused or angry look plastered to his face. Why? Na khushi dikhti hai, na pyaar dikhta hai, na shock dikhta hai aur na kuch aur. And woh kya tha when they showed his transformation??Arre mere muh se cheekh nikal gayi ye dekh ke.😲 Infact Bani bhi ghabra gayi uska transformation dekh ke. Kya tha woh? Aur itne gusse me kyun ho yaar? Life se itne khafa kyun ho? Ek ladki itne pyaar se tumko dekh rahi hai, and all you can give is dull expressions? Ab to kuch bhi ho jaaye, bhai jaldi se Veer and Bani ka revenge marriage karwa do, hum log inka cheesy romance ek episode se jyaada shayad hazam na kar paaye. And let's not talk about his look, he just reminded me of Persian king Xerxes. It just reeks of villainy.

Veer's confusing dialogues - Bhaisaab aap Bani ko follow karte karte din me aaye. Mandir ke walls ko touch kiya, phir uske confusing dialogues, "Bani Sharma yahaan kya kar rahi hai?", "Meri sweetheart uss dhaabewale ke saath kya kar rahi hai?" I mean did he remember or did he not. Technically, the time has come for him to remember his past life according to the kaalyantra. So he should remember his past, but he could pretend to not having remembered anything to keep his father content and not go around chasing Adi naagin, because Veer knows his father will not allow him to do so, and probably could also kill Bani. Aisa ho sakta hai, that he knows and pretends to be clueless to mislead his family. Just like in Naina's case, he never mentioned about Bani once to his family, except Tapish.

Observations:

So coming to the main premise of Naagin - R E V E N G E. Dude, where is the revenge? What is the motive? What kind of ridiculous premise is this? 10,000 saal pehle, Aakesh duped the Nagas, and killed them, and tried to force Naageshwari to accept his love, and killed Hriday as well. So Naageshwari killed Aakesh. It's done and dusted. How does that apply to the current era and time? You died for your lover, now you have him, jao bhai life enjoy karo. Par nahi, inka to funda hi alag hai. 10,000 saal pehle ka badla hum log abhi lenge, sab ko ek ek karke thokenge. Waah, kya rann-neeti hai. Usko Shivji ne bola hai that you cannot hurt a cheel unless they attack you first.Matlab now as a Shivbhakt Adi naagin, you will resort to treachery, instigate a cheel to attack you so you can kill them. To tum log aur cheel me kya difference hai behen? Agar baat was justifying the death of the nagas and naagins the Cheels killed in the last 40 years, the death of your mother, I would still support you. But they don't know any of this. So this revenge is baseless and at the same time deceitful, just like cheels. So unfortunately for Bani I cannot support you. You are the heroine, you are Adi Naagin you should be different than the Cheels, not stoop to their level. Your first duty is not crooning "Tere sang pyaar" with your chomuchand Nag, but to protect Naagmani, but alas, you are a disappointment. Even Shivanya and Bela were better than you.🤔

Coming to love, Bani behen tumko iss Jai me kya dikhta hai? Infact, chuse huye aam, malnutrition ke patient jaise dikhne wale Nag me tumko interest kyun hai? Kyunki woh achchi baatein karta hai, tumhare sundar sundar kaano ko jo baatein bhaati hai woh acha lagta hai? cheesy lover ke one-liner dialogues pasand hai? Kya dekh ke tum itna sharma jaati ho, Bani Sharma? Batao na, kyunki hum logo ko ye pyaar samajh nahi aa raha. Humare dil ko choota nahi ye pyaar, balki cheer ke nikal jaata hai bullet ki tarah. Abbe hadh hai yaar. Na koi feeling, na koi emotion, achanak pyaar ho gaya, phir ek din achanak lupt ho jaayega. Ajooba pyaar hai yaar, feel hi nahi hota - iss thakeli naagin aur uske equally thakele nag ka pyaar.🤪

Ye Bani ko jab dance karte karte sab yaad aaya, tab achanak se she screamed "HRIDAY!" and instantly Jai screamed, "NAAGESHWARI". Mujhe ye scene bahut jhol laga. Firstly, they were showing both remembering their past, but during the dance, Bani began remembering the events and they did not show Jai. Then how did he scream out her name? The scene came across to me as if he remembered everything from before and just screamed out her name like spontaneously. Ye Nag banda is very jhol. Kuch massive locha hai isme.

Has someone noticed that when memories were flashing by, Bani always got flashes of herself and Aakesh, and only Jai got flashes of himself and Naageshwari. That is so oddly satisfying, I must say.

And, lastly, 10,000 years ago, something more transpired that night. I have a feeling Hriday and Aakesh both must have survived and something after Naageshwari stabbing herself happened that night. I really want to know what that was. Some link is missing in this story. Please makers, please. We need to know Hriday and Aakesh's side of the story as well. I guess after the revenge marriage, Bani will come to know something of her past and Shivji will take her on a time travel loop to see the reality. Also, Shivji na, Bani ke ghar ke padosi nahi hai, bhagwan hai. Please Bhagwan ke presence ko itna casually na dikhao, uski garima banake rakho, request hai.

I am wondering if he remembers his past as Aakesh, i think it would be easy for him to put two and two together, and understand that Bani is Naageshwari, and Jai is Hriday.Itna to woh sharp hai hi. Balwant does not want him to go chasing Naageshwari, so he may actually push him to go close to whichever girl he thinks he is after which turns out to be Bani. But actually, Veer will remember Bani and Balwant ko woh bhanak bhi nahi padne dega that he remembers himself as Aakesh. If I know Veer, he will definitely mislead his family about his memories and more importantly, Bani being Naageshwari.

1. Yes Surbhi was really good.. I loved her expression, even her solo Tandav also was good. Iski acting natural hai

2. Veer sochte hai bohat smart hai, but actually hai bohat bholu hai re tu 😆😆 may be revenge k liye Bani will marry Veer and Veer ko lagega jealousy mein kia. Bas kisi tarah shaadi ho jaaye Vani ka. Toh main relax ho jaun.

3. Yes i thought jab teeno saath mein aaye tabhi shivji ne darshan dia. Yeh teeno ki kahani hai so Veer ko bhi equally rights hai sach Jaanne ka. Ya fir sayad har naagin seasons k tarah Hero ko late mein pata chalta hai sab..

5. Mohit's expression damn!! Day by day improve karne ki jagah worse hote ja rahe hai. Pehle toh transformation k time lag raha tha bijli ka jhatka lag gaya ya fir usse hi kisi snake ne kaat lia. Fir transformation look k baad he was like kisine jabardasti kadha or karele ki sabji khila di.. Then woh dance wale expression like aaila Rasgulla!!! Then jab past ka pata chala Surbhi was really good there in emotional vibes.. Wahan mohit was like mummy ne maara hai fir mummy ne kahan chal gussa nahi hote, chocolate kha.. Khusi shock anger sab milake aisa reaction dia k hum e rona aa gaya..

6. Veer ko yaad aaya ki nahi woh twist hai. Technically aana chaiye and aaye bhi toh he will not tell to anyone.. And will behave like kuch nahi pata. And he will protect his Bani at any cost.. Haaye yeh pyaar ❤️

7. What kind of revenge is this? Kyon maaroge tum usse? 10000 saal purni revenge? Arre revenge toh le lia tha tab. Ab kis basis pe maaroge? Kuch bhi! Matlab man hua toh maar dia jab ki usne kuch kia bhi nahi! Balwant and others should be killed for their wrong deeds but Veer? Wth!!!

8. Yeh dekho yeh inka ajooba feelingless pyaar mere dimag mein nahi aata. So jyada nahi baat karte inke baarein mein. Inke pyaar se jyada Veer k saath Nafrat mein jyada feelings hai..

9. U caught what I was thinking. Mujhe bhi laga k Bani ko sab yaad aa raha hai. Coj Jay ka aisa kuch dikha nahi raha tha. Then suddenly woh kaise Nageshwari bola? Direction problem ya locha?

And yeh maine bhi notice kia. Jab Bani k liye yaad aana start hua toh Aakesh Nageshwari scenes tha. I was like this this this! Maza aa raha hai k she is remembering Veer related things.. But kyon?

10. There is a big twist in the past to be unfold.. Hriday jaise dikha raha hai waise hai nahi.. In fact kuch dikhaya hi nahi uska. Bohat bada twist hai, jo ki show ka turning point banega. Saara equation badal jaiga.

I still have belief on saphera baba who said jaani dushmani k beech paribhasa badal rahe hai, humare Vani shippers k lead hai woh 🤣

I loved Surbhi alot today too she was very expressive and emote beautifully even in her normal scenes with Jay she was very good but to me they look more like partners in crime I can never take them seriously as a couple. I felt uncomfortable watching their romantic moments today.

The duo tandav sequence was ridiculous, Bani started it off well but it got lame once Jay join in. These two look much better together in their normal avatar than as Naag and Naagin duo.

I didn't get Veer today, He want to use Meera as a bait to get close to Bani thinking she will get jealous? He still not getting how extreme her hate for him is? while she just reunited with her so called soulmate 😆

Till sat episode im ok with mohit..i was like ok lets give some time

But after today episode now im feeling that mohit -1 is far better than mohit -2

Atleast mohit - 1 looks good with surbhi ( i feel)

His role is limited to first episode n they didnt give him chance to work on his expression as its stry of aakeshwari

But now im feeling if he was given jay charcter he will look good with surbhi n like we given time to mohit2 if we givr to him

He will definitely work on his expressions

Seriously guys i never disappointed with any charcter till now like it happened with jay

No offense to mohit sehgal

But his transformation n his dance with bani n his anger face his costume everything is cringe for me😖

Wo kya hua kal raat ko, mujhko samajh nahi aaya. It was a plain and simple snooze fest.

Then jab past ka pata chala Surbhi was really good there in emotional vibes.. Wahan mohit was like mummy ne maara hai fir mummy ne kahan chal gussa nahi hote, chocolate kha.. Khusi shock anger sab milake aisa reaction dia k hum e rona aa gaya..

Exactly, Surbhi emoted really well compared to Mohit today. Unfortunately, Mohit sucks as a Nag too. Like real bad. I cannot see the love between them at all, but I do see an understanding and I see buddyship, but no love. As you said they can work off as partners in crime, and not lovers. I did not feel uncomfortable, I just did not see any soul in them.

The duo tandav sequence was ridiculous, Bani started it off well but it got lame once Jay join in. These two look much better together in their normal avatar than as Naag and Naagin duo.

Honestly, why do they show tandav sequences on Nagas and Naagins. Arre, show the typical lehrane wala dance na, like serpents do. It works for me. And Jai lacked grace and looked robotic and dull. I think I like Bani as Naagin as well as normal also. But Jai is an overall cringefest.

I didn't get Veer today, He want to use Meera as a bait to get close to Bani thinking she will get jealous? He still not getting how extreme her hate for him is? while she just reunited with her so called soulmate 😆

If by any chance he really remembers his past, Veer needs to work something out to keep Bani by his side. Cause Veer may not know, but Aakesh definitely knows. So he needs to have a change of plans and mind as well. I think Veer will remember his past but will mislead his family that he remembers nothing for protecting Naageshwari from them. He really does not trust his dad. Veer needs to remember he is Aakesh, only then can he tackle the hate inside Bani and win her over as well. Otherwise, Veer's childish plans will get him nowhere. Cause Bani won't stop from using Veer's cluelessness about his past against him.

But after today episode now im feeling that mohit -1 is far better than mohit -2

I think Mohit Malhotra would have fared better than Mohit Sehgal beside Surbhi. This Mohit Sehgal is too hard to digest for me.

His role is limited to first episode n they didnt give him chance to work on his expression as its stry of aakeshwari
