The Mumbai Police and Maharashtra government has thrown a case on Republic Tv to prevent them from covering the SSR case. Let me reiterate my stand. Should the republic reporters prob give space to Rhea. Yes, she is petite and we don't want her bruised. A man has three times the strength of a women. Maybe even her dad as he is elderly and if he gets covid it will be bad for the SSR case. Showik and Suraj are completely different cases. As able bodied young men there is no way they can be harmed by reporters. Even though the paparazzi around the world gets away with crossing people's boundaries on a daily basis. We should be different.

That being said if the Mumbai Police and Mahrashtra Government succeed in their case (and there is a dangerous chance they will as it will be held in Mumbai high court) I cant tell you what dangerous precedent it will set for Indian democracy. Not only it will be unconstitutional but in most counteries it has started the doom of their democracy. Why? Because it is the media job to hold the establishment or organization accountable when they abuse their power. Why was the Maharashtra government so adamant in not having a CBI inquiry? Who in their government were they protecting? Why did the police violate criminal procedure code and not file an FIR? Why did they not seal the crime sight? Why did they declare the unnatural death a suicide without any investigation? Clearly the establishment has abused it power. And whenever an establishment in power, abuses their power and succeeds in getting the media to stop covering it. The establishment might as well admit they have turned into an authoritarian dictatorship. That is why I am saying people, please sign the petition.

Even the reporters violating Rhea's space is not adequate excuse. As it is the Mumbai Police is already giving her red carpet treatment that no other accused gets. Which just further proves something fishy is going on. Sign the Republic petition that supports their right to cover whichever topic they want. It cannot be more important for India.

That is terrible. Do you think Mumbai police will win?

I do think Republic tv needs to stop stalking the cars😆 Like seriously they get nothing out of it. Other than they enjoy that they are annoying the accuser. True about being injury. I never seen this kind of outrage. I was shocked. I pray republic tv will win the case though.

Hope media leaves her alone as by now it's understood that she will give comments to only selected news channels, why try ? Even if this was to gain sympathy, people shouldn't do things which would actually gain her sympathy like this.
