They didn't show him negative at the first place... Even threatening that old snake, he didn't kill it.. just left it after getting answer unlike satyug era where he really killed and did crimes

Not negative but he's grey character. I personally feel if Veer suddenly turns positive the charm of cheel will disappear by time. C'mon he's cheel who is emotionless by nature still he has feeling of love jealousy grief. Banda apne territory ke cheelose se jara hatke hai isn't that enough and I think he will change his shades by time ( but it should be little long) at the end of the day he's the hero.

In Satyug the only person he killed was Hriday, I don’t recall him killing anyone else. Yes he was a thug and a thief, but that’s not his fault completely since he was raised that way. Who knows maybe he was different from the rest if his clan back then as well?

Seriously Veer is that character that his both individual and couple scenes are entertaining for me..rest all are useless including Bani..jab tak woh yeh irritating harkate karti rahegi, she's temporarily cancelled for me.
