The Bengaluru Central Crime Branch (CCB) booked Kannada film actress Ragini Dwivedi and 11 others for their alleged role in the use of banned drugs in the Sandalwood industry in Karnataka, police said on Saturday. This comes after nearly 10 days of various news regarding drug abuse and celebrities being spoken about. One among the 12 is Bollywood star Vivek Oberoi's brother-in-law Aditya Alva.
Aditya, incidentally is the son of late legislator Jeevaraj Alva and danseuse Nandini Alva. He is said to be a popular face in the party circles. And his name has come as a shock to many. News reports suggest that he hasn't been taken to custody yet and the CCB officers are currently on the lookout for him. But, there is no official word out on whether or not he will be arrested as yet.
