certanly if I could affect the most of the show is shas or bhahu anyway there are 50 or 60 show running currently are they stopped and not all the good show get the good TRP becoz not everyone have good taset of show

I’m going to say it again. Naagin 4’s trp decreased and dropped a bit because of the corona virus and the long wait too.

The messy N4 ended with the trp of 2.8. If we go by your logic this season’s trp should be around 3 or around 2.5 not 1.9. Because of the N4 curse 😳 par nah all this new trp ka Pura ke Pura credit belongs to this season only.

After finale trps went down every week. Which clearly indicates what ain’t working and it got nothing to do with previous season. People are bored of this same old saga with new faces.

1)From what I know the opening trp of this season was around 2.8 or 2.9 which is actually less for the naagin franchise.

2) Naagin 5 has quite a lot to offer the audience, but all thanks to the kalank called season 4 people will not bother to show any interest for this season.

3) @ bold Then why did season 3 do so well? Naagin 2 was not that great of a season, and its ratings had dropped considerably towards the end but Naagin 3 still managed to pick up because it already had a major chunk of its audience retained that acted as a cushion for the franchise which has been lost due to the blunder of season 4. 2.8 is very shitty rating for a show like Naagin so if you’re going to boast about season 4 getting that then I cant help but laugh at your joke. The closing trp for Naagin 4 should have been above 4 so that the audience retained would have been exposed to the next season or be interested in watching it.

And how exactly does corona virus result in Loss of trp? How did ramayan get a trp of around 6+ during the entire lockdown and the pandemic?

Its not the virus, it was because of the disaster and blunder done in season 4 which ruined the reputation of the naagin franchise.

Rocky killing Shivangi in the finale episode was not really great with the TRP, you can check the old ratings merely got 1.8TRP and Season 3 started off promoting its own track and twist got 4.9TRP, there was no involvement of past cast till season 3 finale promo/episode which being aired after one year of successfully running.

If the initial promos had Dheeraj and Hina then the initial promo of N3 had Karishma, Rajat and Anita, Surbhi or Pearl was not anywhere. They vanished after first episode, Anita turned out to be another side character but still Surbhi did out-shine and maintained the TRP for season 3.

And Exactly, here in S5, the revenge element is missing

Naagin 2 never got anything less than 3, at least from what I remember it’s finale trp was around 3.8 and 1.8 if you ask me is too less.

Yes, Surbhi and Pearl were not anywhere in the initial promos, but the point is, other than Karishma tanna, Anita and Rajat were still there in the show, so it was justified to not show Surbhi right away, but here all the three leads promoted earlier are no longer there in the show.

Living up to the hype? What hype? They never created any hype for the show to begin with, if you are talking about the actors whether it’s Hina or surbhi, hype related to actors does not mean anything as only one particular actor’s fans alone don’t contribute to the ratings as this hype only exists online and not on the screens.

For a hype to be created you need at least a month before the launch of the actual season which was not done for Naagin 5 because of Naagin 4 itself because Naagin 4 was still going on so how the hell do you even create a buzz or hype for season 5 that even right after the finale of season 4?

Even the opening of Season 5 was clouded by season 4, because it began with Brinda listening to a story making season 5 look like a continuation of season 4, that is how they started the season so how exactly can you say it is not season 4’s fault?

N5(with few mins of BrinDev)=2.4/2.5
