However I am not very convinced with Covid being the reason for his falling performance. I am not discrediting your knowledge but I have my own reasons. If such was the case , logical thing would have been to ask for some relaxation in Anurag's char instead of attention and focus. If you can't perform because of your lack of skills or due to health reasons why serve audience with such half hearted job. So I am sure he did all he did considering everything.

Second, he is shouting quite often in the scenes with almost everyone, hence energy is not the problem but inability to act subtle is whats ruining the scenes for me. Anyway I would stop personal discussions here because we both don't know that part and it is not the right place to discuss personal stuff.

Coming back to the characters and the performance- The whole problem is both Anurag and Prerna who have less experience and have probably played young characters (please correct me if they have played parents earlier) in the past are badly struggling to pull of maturity that the char needs post leap and that's the reason it's so visible on screen post leap. Audience is expecting some emotions and all they are serving everyday is non sense nok jhok because all this is they have to offer I guess.

Actors go to such an extent to get into the skin of the character be it there look, their behaviour, their way of talking walking, dialogue delivery voice modulation and what not, these two do nothing or they lack the skills. Look at Kuki and Kaushik, they emote better than these two (you may disagree).

They are probably not the right to play characters that have to show bit of maturity that's why they just get involved in unnecessary banters.

But i am disappointed they could have used this track for prems arrival too..
