Definitely agree, casting is fab!! Each character nailed the nuances, so well. Was curious to see boy's grandfather, cos he is a seasoned actor and the best character of mdkd, the only one in mdkd, which didn't mess, all others including leads messed at points!

So his bonding with his son, and acting was on point.

Overall I really found it fresh, light hearted, family encounters, social media angles and all. Plus, they are trying to break a few stereotypes, which is great.

Though I did find, invading social media space, kinda overdone at a few points.

Definitely leads and plot seems fresh, and best was all seemed normal.

Won't be continuing the show, though as I have decided to not get in them or follow anything.

Yes! I really like him as an actor. He is brilliant. 👏

About the concept, it's fresh and I think if they don't run behind TRP they can explore a lot since the ML is both a son and father.

Invasion of privacy in terms of social media - I could answer properly if I had seen the sequence properly. 🤪🤭

About following the show - same here. As much as I agree with you that while binge watching, we tend to miss a few sequences, following a show sometimes take a toll on mental health too, specially when they deviate from the original plot.

So unless something is short and meaningful, I don't intend to follow any show right now.

I am actually losing my interest for the native show I talked earlier about. It has become way too popular and they are literally showing crap right now.

Which brings me back to my earlier point, I would rather binge 20 episodes at once focusing on the actual plot than waiting for every night to get disappointed.

Well, coming to Tera Yaar... well, I couldn't watch yesterday's episode properly as I got the remote in my hands for only 10 minutes. So, I can't say much...

Just that the casting was on point and the acting too was good. Have downloaded the Sony LIV app in my maa's phone and I might probably watch the episode tomorrow.

The cast and acting was good but I guess I won't be continuing it cos I am already watching two shows and my maa won't allow me to watch a third show as of now... 😆

Yes, one is obviously IMMJ2.

The other is Baal Veer Returns... am watching it just because I am totally in love with its VFX.

Talking about Matsh, I saw a few notifications and needless to say, creations I have made are ofc few of my favourite scenes from the show.

Apart from that, I don't remember much scenes.

But the 1st phase, was beautiful, their friendship phase, ones with chirag and start part of post leap, when Hritika came, start phase, around KC phase, Ranveer confronting shikhar and ishani in hospital and saying she is his wife, and of confession scene, and scenes which followed post confession for a week till Ishani decided to become a noble idiot and mahan. Even sari sequences, were shot well and a special mention to mehendi sequence, when Ishani was in green!

I actually loved the initial phase and the friendship between IshVeer. I don't know why I feel this but I think Ranveer gave Harshad a lot credit but the later never really stood up for him in front of Baa. Ishani did that despite herself being neglected and criticized in the household.

I actually found her to be better in terms of always calling Ranveer out on his Mahanta because bringing Chirag closer to Ishani was equally as stupid as her noble idiocy stunt in the later tracks.

So needless to say, I was heartbroken in those 40 + episodes where she was literally blind in Chirag's love - it was totally out of the character of the Ishani that was introduced.

Coming to their wedding, I loved that phase because Ranveer never manhandled her neither Ishani went berserk. They actually tried to become friends again which was genuinely natural on screen.

Particularly one scene that I want to mention is when Ranveer asked Ishani to smile and she had a dialogue like - Woh Haasi To Sirf Ek Dost Ki Liye Hua Karta Tha Jo Waqt Me Sath Kahi Kho Gaya!

I loved it when with that they showed that she missed her best friend in those two years otherwise that would be impractical and selfish on her part considering they were childhood buddies

Well, in my case, my cellphones don't get damaged many times... this is my second cellphone. The previous one I used for three years before it broke down for once and forever... 😆

I partially agree, cos Harshad also taught Ranveer a lot, and treated him well. In front of Baa, obviously you can't actually stand up, without proofs, as a viewer we would feel, but was impractical.

Yes, of course. But his love was one sided till then, and ofc seeing his position pre leap, he couldn't have exactly done it, plus he wished the best for Ishani. But he definitely could have warned her.
