Hello people, I am back! I know everyone is busy swooning over all the VAni moments, and yes they were on fire today, but mostly Veer was on fire today. Infact even Jai and Bani moments were decent. Overall a very nice and VAnilicious episode. So here goes my take.

Highlights:

Veer's Sherlockgiri and obsession - So Veer does not find Jai as a competitor enough to match him, or even Bani as a matter of fact. Bani admires Jai, but I don't think it has come to a point where she is deeply in love with him. Infact, any sensible girl would choose Jai over Veer. Jai behaves normally, is not a jerk, and does not make the person uncomfortable. Veer is always pushing Bani out of her comfort zone, pushing her buttons, making her do things which she would never do. Bani surely did not assume her real identity in front of Jai, because that would be a very stupid move. I mean is Veer so silly to think that she would go all Naagin seeing him when she is with a human. I mean he should have understood till now how Bani functions. I mean he is cunning and smart, but too dumb to not consider this point. In fact, in his mind, he has already decided that she isn't Naagin material. But then why did he go there to check she is a Naagin or not and what would he have done if she turned out to be one?

Bani's monologuešŸ‘ŽšŸ¼ - WAS TOO ON THE FACE!!!! I mean what was the director thinking. Aa gaye waapis apne Naagin wale aukaad pe. Patthar tod dena, camera se baat karna, ye kya tha bhai. Naagin hai, Bahubali nahi yaar. Matlab uss scene me subtlety gadhe, ghode aur haathi bech ke sone chali gayi thi kya. What was that all about? Itna irritating laga woh scene. I understand that Bani's feelings intensify whenever she is around cheels, but that was OTTness on another level. Oh maatao, please, hum log sweet Bani se kaam chala lenge, please aise TV pe daraya mat karo. Mini heart attack dila dete ho yaar😲

Jai the boss - I liked the guy today. He is a nice, decent boss. Infact I like these sweet subtle moments between Jai and Bani. Caring and concerned boss, looking after his employees. He was really sweet tonight. But, dude needs to bulk up if he is going to play a Nag. A nag cannot look so weak, that too if he is competing with Veeranshu Singhania. Jai, beef up boy. Otherwise, you are a sweetheart, oh sorry, darling. Sweetheart to koi aur haišŸ˜†. Hope you remain that way.

VAni Moments: The two most important ones...

Car Ride: Veer and his antics are rather annoying in there own ways. But that is his way of expressing himself. He wanted to spend a few moments with Bani, which Bani by her free will would not have. Like Veer always has to steal moments with his sweetheart. Anyway "Bhaiyya" sunte hi Veer ke dimaag me kalesh ho jaata hai, by godšŸ˜†. But that mirror moment was again a repetition of the blade scene between Aakesh and Naageshwari. Infact, like Naageshwari, Bani too liked what she saw, even though she has seen herself before. The thing is both moments differ and have different impacts. When Aakesh showed Naageshwari her reflection, she hadn't seen herself before that. She believed what Hriday told her. But Aakesh showed her how real her beauty is. She was happy to see what she saw, she was happy to get that human feeling. But in the present, when Veer showed Bani her reflection, it wasn't like she hasn't seen herself before. But today she saw what Veer's cheel eyes see in her - Magic, pure magic. Someone looking at you and telling you that you are magical means a lot to a girl, I suppose. No other guy or man has ever done that to her. She may not like Veer's ways, but she cannot deny that the way Veer shows her what her worth and caliber is, it flatters her, no one else can do that. But she cannot stand Veer, and so she has to always shut him down, even if she doesn't really want to.

Dance - Two episodes ago, Veer has asked Bani, "Behelo mat, behek jao". This dance exactly depicted that. Bani had her own agenda to go to Veer because she felt they will create problems, what problems only she knows. Because Veer had only come to party. The rest of the cheels were up to no good, as always. But the dance in between was what Veer called "behekna". I mean he casually wanted to dance, but it turned into something more than that. It was like Veer was shining in Bani's light and Bani was slowly lighting up to Veer's darkness. Both of them were intense, and the dance was like the way a Cheel dances, I swear. Veer's moves were like he was literally hovering over Bani, making space for no one to enter his territory. And Bani like a naagin was dancing to the Cheel's tune for a change. It was kind of subtly sexy in a way. I liked the dance. I wonder whose heartbeat was raised - I think it was Veer. Cause only Veer's heart beats each time he is with Bani. I mean just as much as Veer loses himself to Bani, Bani is not less affected. It was fun.

Observations:

I feel that Bani turning out to be a Naagin should be revealed before Veer, otherwise, I don't see any way his obsession increasing to a point that "Casanova" Veeranshu Singhania decides to marry Bani to keep her with him. Veer does not see Jai as competition and he senses that Bani cannot ignore him or not feel anything. I think he feels that Bani will eventually succumb to him since he has that effect on her. Something has to happen for Veer's sanak to increase tenfold to actually want Bani at all costs. Knowing she is a Naagin, who is powerful and beautiful, he will understand why does he feel this strong attraction for her. He has certainly reached a point where he cannot let go of Bani nor kill her. Hence it is important for him to know. He needs to keep her off the radar of his family because he knows what they fear and can do to her.

At the end of the dance, I don't think Bani or Veer felt any past life flashes. They were just too engrossed into the dance and were actually trying to make sense of this intensity of feelings they have for each other. Yes, they are deeply drawn to each other and feel very strong emotions for her, but I don't think they remember. Infact, what I noticed was Veer looking at Bani's eyes. Why? Did he see anything Naaginish in them? I wonder why is Jai chosen to be the first one to remember the past?

Okay, so the drunk yellow-shirt guy, he is definitely going to misbehave with Bani in the next episode. He would definitely try to act fresh with her. Here two things can happen - either Bani goes all Adi Naagin on him and Veer witnesses that, or Veer helps Bani and earns some brownie points, only a few though. Jai has already done his bit in protecting Bani tonight. How much ever he tries, Bani will always walk away to Veer only.

Naina is a bimbo naagin I swear. Who is she to meddle in something which is not meant for her? It is Bani's story, which is meant to play out on its own. She can't tell her the deets and condition her thoughts and decisions from before. So I am not too sure, whether she will survive to tell anything to Bani or not. Let's wait for next week.

Okay, the Singhanias are really scared of Adi Naagin and Veer. Veer because he has zero percent knowledge about what kind of work they do. And Ballu's "teen ladko ko bol do kaam kaise karna hai". I mean tere ghar ke bachche hai yaar. Sadak se nahi uthake laya hai tu, oye. Also, he is scared for his son Veer, because Adi Naagin will kill him. But is Veeranshu, the Veer who he is speaking about, or is there another Veer too. Undoubtedly, Bani will not kill Veer. But why did that dialogue sound like Ballu was talking about someone else and not Veer?

Jai's chachu sold the floor to Veer's father. Who is Jai's chachu, btw? And why haven't we seen him yet? Oh man, I am having such weird ideas, but ye Veer ka chachu kahin Jai ka chachu to nahi. Jai ki family ko dikhate nahi hai. Jai ki mummy off ho chuki hai. Sirf bhai, behen ko dikhate hai. Bhai ho kya raha hai. Boss bahut shaq ho raha hai ye Mathurs aur Singhanias ko lekar. Kahin Jai bhi mila hua to nahi?I just hope I am wrong.

Anyway, enough ranting. Do share your thoughts as well. Tab tak main phir se VAni ko dekh leti hu.

Why did they play AakeshWari BGM for Jay and Bani? They didn’t play it for VAni but rather played it for Jay’s scenes with Bani? Either the editor is drunk or they are trying to mess with us.

I think they have changed the tune from Aakeshwari tune to a reincarnation theme. I mean it plays for Jai when he remembers anything. And now it plays for Jai and Bani. But if they play the same tune for Veer and Bani when they remember anything, then maybe my theory would stand fine. But, otherwise, it could also be another trope to create confusion regarding the couples.

Even if that’s the case, it’s still not done, since that BGM reminds me of Aakesh and his sanaki obsession for Nageshwari. Already they have given him so many BGMs.

I think they just want to mess with our minds!

Finally someone who thinks the same. That scene was such a turn off and Bani looked so unflattering with her crazy ott lip movement. I really feel like the actress needs to work on her speech.

Besides that, I liked the episode. Because of all the Veer scenes, he takes this lukewarm show to a whole other level when his on screen. The only thing I find watchable about Nagin.

Loved reading your review! I have managed to convince myself that Hriday was not the good boy he seemed to be - that maybe Aakesh killed him because he was betraying Naageshwari rather than because she loved him. Could it be my love for Veer/Aakesh that is making me think this way? I don't know. Jai seems to be a genuinely good guy right now - Hriday gave me bad vibes from the get go - but there is some thing fishy about his family for sure. The chachu who sold the first floor sounds like a bad guy

Jay good boy vibe is kinda fishy too to be honest. Which is making the whole Jay and Bani angle look fake.

Exactly, kya tha woh sab. Aisa lag raha tha koi comedy circus ka scene uthake chipka diya ho. It was crazy hilarious and frightening at the same timešŸ˜†. I agree, Sharad as Veer lights up the story whenever he is onscreen. Infact, he somehow makes an otherwise sometimes dull and sedate Surbhi even look better. Infact, Surbhi's problem is also speech and vocals, apart from falling a little flat sometimes.

@bold All of this. This is my first Surbhi show. I went back and watched a few scenes of her other shows and she has the exact same problem there too. compared to the Nagins from previous season she falls so flat. That X factor is missing. She makes me miss Hina Khan so much (and those flashbacks aren’t helping). I’m not even a Hina fan but damn she really had the X factor, it made me overlook her ott scenes at a few places because I was so mesmerise.
