We didn’t expect destination wedding but what happened is they showed nannu mishti prewedding functions in too much detail and in each function abir was getting insulted... finally we unite in the temple.. we thought they will do a bhagke shaadi and we would have been happy.. but they decided to go through with proper wedding... immediately after nannu track.. so it became repetitive

Plus.. they rushed through mishbir haldi and added kuku divorce drama in the mix... got mishti slapped on her wedding, made kuhu take the mandap and finally the bus top wedding was literally done in 3-4 minutes over 2 episodes.... with kuhu’s angry face being flashed in between the leads taking preras and not only that they showed a longish anupama’s promo( promo was bigger than the wedding)in between the shaadi... so everyone was pissed with this treatment given to the leads

I loved the KC episode; the Mumbai episode; like literally MishBir episodes in S1 were all just sheer love.

OK so I Ffed through many of the NishMish functions except when Abir would appear. So for me those functions never happened. That is how I dealt with that.

Well i focused on the positives - the Haldi shower scene, waise Sha looked so cute during the haldi sequences that even EK complimented him.

the dheere dheere sequence at the mandap-that-got-stolen and I focused on the "Na main tujh se zyada na tu mujhse kam hai" and the pheras.

The anger was only there for a second between the shayarri and the pheras. They also showed BB, Nanu, Kunal's face. Also, Gujju weddings have 4 pheras..not 7 pheras like other Hindu weddings. I am half Gujju. I know this. Anyways, this is DKP, they will show some anniversary function where MishBir take pheras and take vows again. Don't worry.

There might even be a destination wedding part 2 once COVID is over and Disney gets its moolah back coz right now they are losing a lot with their parks still shut in Cali. Once parent company is back to riches and international skies open, and this show is still on, there will for sure be an overseas outdoor. Lets be positive: 2021 mein MishBir ki 2nd shaadi in Oz.

Then nanko can also do shayarri: Australia tak famous kahani, bhai ki Mishti bhabhi deewani.

P.S. I am a happy person usually, so I try to be positive. However, sometimes I feel to go with the flow around here I also have to be a bit jaded and pessimistic which is just not me.

I love your optimism.. we have got so many amazing mishbir moments.. in s1 every Friday we used to get some cute mishbir scene.. it was a given than Friday hai toh romance milega.. those were the days...

and that’s why even after so many nonsensical tracks we all get pissed off but still wake up early to watch the episodes.. 1% chance and rope of hope

No no, BFF and his wife went to Greece and had a church wedding during their honeymoon. So no need for separation. Just Oz tak famous kahaani, Abiraa ki Mish (aur itni fangirls) deewani.

Sorry Pallavi, Kunal is not Abir, so I do not keep record of his exact episodes. Therefore I cannot recall the exact episode...when i rewatch episodes I will let you know but it was something super weird. Like, mere gari mein aacha engine hai, whatever whatever

It isn't just optimism; it is somewhere understanding the character i have been watching since S1.

Even today for example, what got my goat was the fact that nobody gave Abir a chance to feel sad. It was as if what was required of him was to immediately..LIKE IMMEDIATELY, ask the doctor for Mishti's reports, to explain everything to him and then he could just go off and find a 2nd, 3rd or 4th opinion and ask these medics how to treat his wife.

And if he would have done that then again he would have been criticised for having no emotion and not taking a minute to feel the pain and that he was so obsessed with having a kid that he just wanted her treated immediately.

Dear Abir, you are stuck between a rock and a hard place, love. Whatever you do henceforth will be seen as ruining your character.

I am beginning to really believe that the reason i loved S1 so much was because I watched it on my own, without being influenced by any opinions on SM. So I could love the episodes I did, form my own opinions about characters and sequences and dislike whatever I wanted to.

I have many friends here now so it will be hard to leave; however I feel I will just say what I want henceforth. Obviously within the rules of the forum.

Don’t take criticism of Abir so personally, we all love Abir! We are pointing out the lack of logic and dumb writing by the makers. Suppose someone hears a doctor say on the phone that their loved one has internal injuries, how would that person react? First of all he/she would panic, Internal injuries? How bad are they? Is it life threatening? The person would ask to discuss those injuries first and make appointment with a specialist through the 1st doctor. The person would worry more about the injuries than whether there can be a baby or not! Not being able to have babies is not the end of the world. But losing Mishti would be the end for him.

Yeah we cannot expect logic from dumb EK writer but we can surely point out anomalies which don’t make sense

I am not taking it personally. My adoration for the actor I have seen play Arjun, Dev and Abir is separate to what I think of the character Abir.

i am just amazed at how there are so many brickbats thrown at a character regardless of what he does.

I do have knowledge of how patients and relatives behave. just saying, i see it at work. everyday!

Just a disclaimer rules and regulations are different in every country and I am watching an indian show. However in ANY country if a doctor felt that injuries were life threatening then the doctor themselves would ask the patient to be brought in to see them IMMEDIATELY. I would like to give the makers the benefit of the doubt here. if the doctor knows that a patent's injuries are life threatening and really bad and does not focus on them then that is a serious fitness to practice issue. So if the doctor focused on the baby then that is the issue at hand. This whole diagnosis would be classed as an "incidental finding". Oh we scanned your uterus and found that due to an OLD injury you cannot have a baby. Isn't that what she said? Did Mishti have any accident previously? Or hurt herself previously? She asked that! Let's have some faith in the medical profession. Abir seems to have it.

I’m not talking about how a doctor would talk about the injuries but how the patient’s loved one would react! The first thought would be worry about the injuries and not focusing about not having a baby. Don’t you think everyone is obsessing too much about a baby when she’s not even pregnant yet?
Abir broke down because doctor said chances KAM hain, but she didn’t say NO chances at all. So as long as there is a chance then other means can be sought but he’s telling Mishti in the precap that she can NEVER be a mother! And he told Meenu the same and also said Mishti ki jaan ko khatra hai. So much inconsistency.

Basically writer is totally confused and that’s confusing us. As you informed earlier this current writer was not the solo writer in Season 1, RS moved the good ones to Anupama hence there’s a huge difference in quality from then and now.

PS: That doctor wasn’t even a gynecologist so why take her diagnosis as the last word?
