Recommendations for Romantic shows

Hi everyone! Hope you're well? 😊 I'm sure you've seen me loitering around on the forum. Just wanted to get your suggestions on Pakistani romantic dramas.

I prefer intense love stories with strong chemistry between protagonists albeit minimal family drama, a genre which has heavily saturated Pakistani entertainment. Kindly recommend. Thank you. 😊

In this season the most romantic drama I would say is " pyar k sadqay" ☺️❤️

It's not that there is zero family drama but it's all around the leads and the romance between leads and their chemistry is so so natural.

I followed it on TV. I believe Bilal is the finest actor from the new generation and nails all his characters but I prefer him doing characters like Wajih.

I didn't connect to Abdullah and Mahjabeen's 'love story'. There's a lot I found objectionable. But I'd rather not delve deeper. 😊

Currently iam watching bin roye , back in 2013 I had read the novel when dream cast of Fawad Mahira and Sanam baloch was annonced , I read the novel keeping them in mind though I had a hard time in imagining young Saba as Mahira , anyways only Mahira went on to do the project and I didn't like Humayun Saeed that time. But I watched the show now and really liked it , I had liked the novel too. Humayun and Mahira have really good chemistry and best thing is the show only has 16 episodes

Iam assuming if you watch Pakistani shows , you must have watched Humsafar that's the only romantic show which is coming in mind. A show mostly about the love story all throughout

There are other shows which have a nice love story and amazing chemistry like Yakeen ka Safar but it's not about the love story it's about social issues and a lot of other things love story starts much later ,

Then there is Dastaan , a tragic very very tragic love story but again the show is more about the partition , the chemistry between Fawad and Sanam is unparalleled though

Oh ya there is cute love story Yeh Raha dil. It's a light hearted show but a romantic story

There is pyarey Afzal too , but the leads had very few scenes together though that made the show different.

In terms of romantic dramas with amazing leads chemistry, I liked Zindagi Gulzar Hai - little drama but good chemistry and Fawads romance. I am currently watching Aap Kay Liye - loads of (irritating) drama, but absolutely love the subtle romance between leads. There's also Besharam - amazing chemistry between leads once again, little bit drama though. Dil Lagi - for Humayun & Mehwish chemistry.

I am a sucker for FQ's romantic gestures and acting so enjoy all his dramas by skipping the family jhagda .. which reminds me Bashar Momin was another one.
